2022 NFL Futures Odds & Picks: Best Bet to Win NFC Championship

The offseason is off and running in the NFL, as are the future markets, as the Super Bowl and both Conference Championship markets are all but in stone. With the Draft now come and gone, free agency has essentially solidified as well, as offseason workouts are now just over a month away.

Let’s take a closer look at how things landed in the NFC, and where the value is in the Bets to win the NFC Championship in the 2022-23 season.

Dallas Cowboys (+850)

With the announcement of Tom Brady returning to the Buccaneers and Aaron Rodgers to the Packers, it’s a tw0-team race atop the NFC Championship odds board, where it will likely remain up until the season begins. From there, just the Rams and 49ers are in between the Cowboys, all four of whom have shortcomings, leaving the Cowboys with I think a ton of value at nearly 9/1 to win the conference.

To finish 2021-22, the Cowboys led all NFC teams with a total point differential of +172, a clear 14 points ahead of their next closest competitor (Tampa Bay). Like we saw last year (and the year prior), the Cowboys also come into this atop the easiest division in the NFL, the NFC East. While the Eagles figure to be improved, much of their talent, including quarterback Jalen Hurts, is still in the growth face while the Cowboys are an established threat each and every season.

Behind one of the best offensive lines in football, the Cowboys bring back a fully healthy Dak Prescott and Ezekial Elliot, and while the loss of Amari Cooper hurt on the surface, I’m confident CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup can pick up the production spades.

The Cowboys also boosted that line in the draft, picking up Tulsa guard/tackle Tyler Smith who is expected to compete for the starting job right away. They’ve also improved on the defensive side of the ball, namely in acquiring some speed off the end in Ole Miss LB/DE Sam Williams who I considered one of the steals of the second round.

If the defense can even slightly improve, with a Cowboys’ offense that scored more than 31 points per game last season largely intact, I like for the Boys to be in the mix late into the 2022-23 season.
