2023 BMW Championship: PGA Longshot Odds, Picks & Predictions
With last weekâs FedEx St. Jude Championship in the rear-view mirror, we now look forward to the second round of the playoffs with this weekâs BMW Championship in Olympia Fields, Illinois. The North Course at Olympia Fields Country Club will host this event for the second time since 2020.
Olympia Fields is a par-70, 7,366-yard track designed by Willie Park Jr. that features hybrid greens. With thick rough, and firm greens, Olympia Fields is likely to play extremely difficult, just like it did when Jon Rahm won with a -4 final score in 2020.
Below, I give out my two best longshot bets to win the 2023 BMW Championship.

2023 BMW Championship: Best Longshot Bets
These plays are 0.23u each, or 0.23% of your betting bankroll.
Cam Davis (+7500 via BetRivers): 0.23u
The first golfer to target this week is Cam Davis, who currently sits at 75/1 via BetRivers. It has been a tumultuous season for Davis, who has now fired off three straight Top 10 finishes to secure a place at this weekâs event in Illinois.
Improving week-over-week, he went from T10 at the 3M Open to T7 at the Wyndham Championship and then posted a T6 finish at last weekâs FedEx St. Jude Championship. At 75/1, it is worth riding the hot hand to keep things rolling at the BMW Championship.
Olympia Fields is going to play difficult, with thick rough, and firm greens that will present a challenge similar to Oak Hill at this yearâs PGA Championship. Davis finished T4 at that tournament alongside an equally difficult field, and considering his recent form, he is capable of securing a victory this week.
Byeong Hun An (+7500 via BetRivers): 0.23u
Another golfer to target this week is Byeong Hun An, who also sits at 75/1 via BetRivers. Also, like Davis, An is playing his best golf of the season.
Not only has he not missed a cut since the Rocket Mortgage Classic, but he has brushed up against victory numerous times with his T3 finish at the Genesis Scottish Open and T2 finish at the Wyndham Championship. An will also have the advantage of having played here in 2020, posting a T12 finish in what was an impressive performance.
Everything has been clicking in his game recently, gaining strokes off the tee, around the green, and putting in each of his past four tournaments. With a solid all-around game, his recent form, and his prior success at Olympia Fields, 75/1 is too good of a number to pass up on An.
