2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup Player Prop Bet Odds, Picks & Predictions (Sunday)

We have less than one week left of the FIBA World Cup.

The FIBA World Champions will be crowned on September 10.

But for now, the tournament still needs to eliminate teams before we can even talk about the Championship. With Sunday’s eight-game slate, I’ve added multiple player props that I’ll be adding to my betting portfolio.

Sunday’s Best FIBA World Cup Player Prop Bets

(Odds courtesy of  FanDuel Sportsbook)

Tremont Waters (Puerto Rico) Over 7.5 Assists (-110)

Tremont Waters has earned 9.3 assists per game with Puerto Rico. Sure, the turnovers are high, too, but the ball is in his hands in almost every possession.

He led Puerto Rico to a significant win over the Dominican Republic, 102-97. where he added 37 points, 11 assists, and seven rebounds. He does it all for Puerto Rico, and his teammates are responding well. The team scored over 100 points against an undefeated Dominican Republic at the time.

Take Waters to earn at least eight assists.

Kendrick Perry (Montenegro) Over 11.5 Points (-135)

Nikola Vucevic and Kendrick Perry are the two scorers on Montenegro. Perry just added 14 points on 6-for-13 from the floor against the USA. That’s got to be worth something!

Perry has averaged 13.5 points per game in four FIBA World Cup games. He’s also shot 46.3% from the field and has earned about two trips to the foul line per game. I like Montenegro’s chances of defeating Greece. If they do, Vucevic and Perry will do most of the damage.

Moritz Wagner (Germany) Over 11.5 Points (-135)

The Germany-Slovenia matchup could be the most exciting game on Sunday. Germany just earned a 100-73 win over Georgia. They got contributions from plenty of players.

However, Moritz Wagner has earned the most minutes off the bench. He also added 14 points on 4-for-7 from the floor, including two threes. Wagner has averaged 13.8 points per game on 64.5% from the field. If he gets on the court and faces backups in Slovenia, he’ll dominate, as he has throughout the tournament.

Bogdan Bogdanovic (Serbia) Over 18.5 Points (-135)

I’ll take a flier on Bogdanovic. The volume is there. But the shot didn’t fall against Italy in his last matchup. Bogdanovic went 4-for-17 from the field, shooting just 1-for-13 from three. However, he still scored 18 points in the game.

He’s averaged nearly 14 shots per game and has shot almost nine threes. He’s only hit 38.2% from the field and 30.6% from three. But the volume alone makes me feel comfortable taking a shot on Bogdanovic. He can’t do any worse, can he?

Austin Reaves (USA) Over 1.5 Threes (+100)

Austin Reaves and the United States struggled against Montenegro in the first half of their last matchup. But the US escaped with an 85-73 win. That game was probably a wake-up call for the US. Reaves played 25 minutes off the bench, leading the entire bench in minutes. However, he only hit 1-for-2 from three in that game.

Reaves has attempted nearly threes per game. He’s also hit 54.5% from downtown. If Reaves gets 25 minutes against Lithuania, the US will feature him more, especially from downtown. They need more scoring. 85 won’t cut it for this US squad anymore.
