This will be their final FIBA World Cup game in 2023 for some countries.

After these matchups, all teams playing on Tuesday will have played three games. Some will advance to the next round. Others will be sent home.

Which players should we monitor in Tuesday’s slate of the FIBA World Cup?

Tuesday’s Best FIBA World Cup Player Prop Bets

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Patty Mills (Australia) Over 17.5 Points (-115)

Patty Mills is “the guy” for Australia.

He poured in 25 points against Finland in the opening game and then added 21 points against Germany in the second matchup. Mills has averaged 23 points per game while averaging 18 shots per contest. He’s hit 55.6% from the field and has shot 38.5% from downtown.

Mills plays with Josh Giddey, who is a pass-first guard, and Mattise Thybulle, who is primarily a defensive player rather than a scorer. Therefore, Mills is asked to do most of the scoring for Australia.

So far, he’s been coming through. Take him to score at least 18 points against Japan.

Simone Fontecchio (Italy) Over 18.5 Points (-135)

Simone Fontecchio took 15 shots against the Dominican Republic in his last matchup. However, he only made four shots and went 1-for-8 from three, scoring just 13 points. In his first game against Angola, he added 19 points on 8-for-14 from the floor.

Again, he went just 1-for-6 from downtown.

Fontecchio is a talented forward and a great shooter. However, those threes haven’t fallen for him, yet he’s still earned 16 points per game. Once those threes fall, Fontecchio will thrive. He’s attempted seven threes per game. I love the volume from the Italian. Keep shooting!

Let’s take his Over.

Kendrick Perry (Montenegro) Over 13.5 Points (-115)

The Montenegro matchup against Lithuania should be a thriller.

It’ll be Nikola Vucevic against Jonas Valanciunas.

With those two guarding each other, someone else must step up.

That guy will be Kendrick Perry. Perry added 16 points on 5-for-11 against Mexico. He then scored 11 points on 3-for-8 from the field against Egypt. However, he’s only earned 24.3 minutes per contest. That’s mainly because of the easy victories, but this one will be harder, meaning Perry should log more minutes. He’s averaged nearly ten shots in two games and has only shot 27.3% from deep. If he can correct his three-point jumper, 14 points will be easy.

Kelly Olynyk (Canada) Over 4.5 Rebounds (-135)

Kelly Olynyk has been getting the start at power forward for Team Canada. He tallied 12 points, eight rebounds, and five assists against Lebanon on Sunday. Against France, in the first game for Canada, Olynyk added four rebounds while scoring 18 points.

He’s been tremendous for Canada but has logged just 20.3 minutes of action because of multiple blowouts. While Canada should earn an excellent victory over Latvia, you can expect this game to be more competitive. Latvia just took down France and shot over 50% from the field. They also chucked up 35 threes.

If they do that against Canada, they won’t make 50% from downtown. Olynyk will clean the glass instead. Take his Over.
