2023 Kentucky Derby Predictions: Disarm

I’m not sure Disarm has the ability to win the Kentucky Derby, but in the Lexington Stakes, the final prep race before the Derby, Disarm finished the final furlong in 12 seconds to finish third. He could be a sneaky pick to finish third or fourth.

Disarm made his racing debut in November 2022, winning an Allowance race at Aqueduct Racetrack in New York. He followed up with a win in the Grade III Holy Bull stakes at Gulfstream Park in February 2023. In March 2023, he won the Grade II Louisiana Derby at the Fair Grounds Race Course in New Orleans.

Disarm’s impressive wins have moved him up on the list of Kentucky Derby contenders. At the current rate, his chances of winning the Kentucky Derby in 2023 remain pretty long, however. He has shown great speed, strength, and stamina in his races so far. The colt has gone from strength to strength, and if he can continue his winning ways, he could very well be a sneaky bet for the Kentucky Derby.
