Practical Move is a bay-coloured thoroughbred who was born on 16th March 2020. He is produced by the renowned racing bloodline, Tapit, who also sired the 2017 Kentucky Derby Winner, Tapwrit. His dam is a mare named Dame Dorothy, who was also a successful racehorse, winning multiple graded stakes races.

The American-bred horse was purchased by the China Horse Club in 2021 for a record-breaking amount of $1.1 million. This shows the level of confidence that the owners have in Practical Move’s abilities.
