Owned by the California-based company, Little Red Feather Racing, Two Phil’s has been trained by Doug O’Neill since his two-year-old debut in 2021.

Performance:

Two Phil’s long and impressive racing career commenced in 2021 as a two-year-old. He won his debut race in impressive style at Santa Anita Park. Since then, he has gained momentum and performed remarkably well in subsequent races.

Two Phil’s entered the Bob Hope Stakes on November 14th, 2021, at Del Mar Racetrack, where he dominated the race, finishing first with jockey Mario Gutierrez. He finished second in the Los Alamitos Futurity on December 18th, 2022, but it was easy to tell that he was not at his best form that day.

On January 15th, 2022, Two Phil’s demonstrated exceptional talent and energy, winning the California base stakes worth $200,000 at Santa Anita. The horse put in an impressive performance and finished the seventh furlong race with an impressive time of 1:23.72.

On February 5th, 2022, Two Phil’s ran at the Robert B. Lewis Stakes, and reports reveal that he was not running on a level field. The hot favorite, Risk Taking, finished first, while Two Phil’s delivered a fourth-place finish. However, the horse was observed to be more relaxed and favored by a hotter race temperature.
