2023 NBA Playoffs Player Prop Bet Odds, Picks & Predictions: Saturday (4/15)

The playoff series begins tonight with four games on the slate. We will have a couple of series that could go long, and it will be interesting to see how the players start off in Game 1.

Saturday’s Best NBA Playoffs Player Prop Bets

Jarrett Allen OVER 9.5 Rebounds (+100)

The Knicks and Cavaliers series could be an interesting one. Cleveland’s identity is through their defense, and they finished the season with the best-adjusted ranked defense in the league. On the other side, New York is an offensive-centric team that was fourth in the adjusted offense.

One matchup that will be key in this series is at center between Jarrett Allen and Mitchell Robinson. These two will battle on the boards to gain the advantage in rebounds. Allen’s rebound prop is set too low, even for this matchup. He went well over this in both games against the Knicks, one with Robinson in the lineup.

He’ll help set the tone for how the Cavs want to play in this series.

Trae Young OVER 8.5 Assists (-113)

The Hawks won the initial play-in game, resulting in getting the seventh seed, and will take on the reigning Eastern Conference champions. They did not have any success against the Celtics this season, losing all three matchups by two possessions.

Young must play out of his mind to combat Boston’s third-best scoring offense and will need to score but also facilitate the ball. He’s had success by going over this assist total in both matchups against the Celtics and went over eight assists in 69% of games this season.

Stephen Curry UNDER 4.5 Threes (-128)

This could be one of the more exciting series in the first round. You should throw away that it’s a 3-vs-6 matchup, and the defending champs are on one side.

With three of the four matchups totaling 229 points or more, you can expect a lot of offense with a series featuring the top two scoring offenses, and both finished in the bottom ten in points allowed.

The Warriors were horrible on the road this season, going 11-30, but they’ve been successful in Sacramento, winning three of their last four and seven in the over series.

Curry went under this prop in the last matchup against the Kings in the second to last game of the season, and I like him to go under again. He’s 2-2 on the over, and the two misses were in Sacramento.
