However, the 2024 version of the Belmont States will run at the historic Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., rather than Belmont Park, as renovations are underway at the race's usual home. That means the distance is being shortened from 1.5 miles to 1.25 miles due to the difference in track circumference.
