Let’s take a look at the best odds, picks, and predictions for this week’s Big3 basketball action.

2024 Big3 Basketball Best Bets: Week 6

Here are our best bets for Week 6 of Big3 basketball action.

Tri-State vs. Triplets

The best game of Week 6 will be played between the Triplets and Tri-State. Both teams are 3-2 and tied for fourth in the league standings. The Triplets struggled last week against 3’s Company, but almost every team in the league has. And while that result dropped them to 3-2, their three wins have been very convincing, with each coming by 10 or more points. Tri-State has been equally dominant in their wins, as they have won all three of their games by at least 10. While we believe the Triplets will ultimately win this game, it’s going to be very close from start to finish. It would be shocking to see either team score fewer than 45 points. Therefore, the over is the right play.

Pick: Over 92.5 (-114)

– Phil Wood

Enemies vs. 3 Headed Monsters

Will anyone defeat the Enemies this season? They just easily took care of business against the Killer 3’s to move to 5-0. All of their wins have been by six or more points, and they have defeated three of their opponents by at least nine. Their competition doesn’t get any stiffer this week as they take on the 3 Headed Monsters. The team just fell 50-36 to Tri-State, marking their second double-digit loss of the season. The 3 Headed Monsters have performed very poorly against teams with winning records this season. We expect that to continue in Week 6. The total for this game is set at 90.5, so it makes no sense the spread is only 5.5. The Enemies will cover easily as they hold the 3 Headed Monsters to 42 or fewer.

Pick: Enemies -5.5 (-114)

– Phil Wood

Ghost Ballers vs. Bivouac

The Ghost Ballers fell to 2-3 after losing to Trilogy last weekend. It was Trilogy’s first win of the season after the Ghost Ballers only scored 17 in the second half. Ultimately, the Ghost Ballers’ top two scorers are shooting below 40% from the field. Mike Taylor has been adding assists at a high rate, but the team has no leaders in other major categories. They’ll take on Bivouc, who has leaders in many categories. Bivouac is 5-0 after a dominating performance against the Ball Hogs. Bivouac held the Ball Hogs to just seven points in the second half after trailing by five at halftime. That led to a 50-33 win to stay undefeated. Corey Brewer leads the team in scoring and is tied for fourth in points. Garlon Green and Corey Brewer are each in the top five in rebounding, too. I’d expect another second-half domination against the Ghost Ballers.

Pick: Bivouac -5.5 (-114)

– Jason Radowitz

Trilogy vs. Power

Trilogy finally earned win No. 1 last week with a solid 50-40 victory over the Ghost Ballers. The secret to their success was pretty simple—they made some shots. After struggling on offense through the first four weeks, everything came together last week as they shot 52% from the field. But they will not beat too many other teams if they do not do a better job on the boards and allow opponents to take open three-pointers. However, if it is vs. Power this week, it may not matter. Power is easily one of, if not the worst, three-point shooting team in the league. While they played a decent first half against the Aliens, they were downright terrible in the second half. Glen Rice Jr. needs some help, and he needs it now. But don’t count on him getting it this week.

Pick: Trilogy -2.5 (-115)

– Travis Pulver

Ball Hogs vs. Killer 3s

The Ball Hogs went super quiet in last week’s showdown against Bivouac. They had the lead at the break but scored just seven points in the second half to fall top 2-3 on the season. Leandro Barbosa has done an excellent job anchoring the team. He’s added 20 assists and four steals. In addition, he’s drained nine three-pointers. He’s just not getting much help from Jodie Meeks, DaJuan Summers, and Larry Sanders. None of these guys scored more than eight points last time out. They’ll take on the Killer 3’s, now 0-5. If anything, the Killer 3’s were more competitive against the Enemies but still lost 50-41 last weekend. After a 23-point performance, Franklin Session now leads the team in scoring. He was the reason the Killer 3’s were competitive the previous weekend. Before Session got going, in other games, Donte Greene led the team in scoring. But he’s shooting below 30% from the field. Without much help, take the Ball Hogs to get past the Killer 3’s in Week 6.

Pick: Ball Hogs -2.5 (-114)

– Jason Radowitz

3’s Company vs. Aliens

Losing a star player and your captain is tough to bounce back from, but the Aliens are figuring out how to play without Paul Milsap. While they struggled in the first half last week vs. Power, they bounced back in the second, going on a 20-4 run to take control of the game en route to their second win. But they will have their hands full against a solid 3’s Company squad coming off a big win over Triplets. Michael Beasley did most of the work, scoring 19 in the first half alone; he had 31 points, 10 rebounds, and shot 54% from the field. With the roster he has around him, 3’s Company may have one of the more complete teams in the league. With how both teams are playing— Aliens are not on par with 3’s Company by any stretch of the imagination. As long as 3’s Company doesn’t beat themselves, they should easily win this one.

Pick: 3’s Company -3.5 (-114)

– Travis Pulver
