The final major of the 2024 golf season begins Thursday in South Ayrshire, Scotland, home of Royal Troon, a true jewel of the British Open course rotation.

Cameron Young British Open Course History

The 27-year-old Cameron Young didn’t participate in the 2016 British Open at Royal Troon Golf Club, so this will be his professional appearance at the Scottish course. Young has performed extremely well in his two previous Open Championships, placing second at St. Andrews in 2022 and following it up with an eighth-place finish at Royal Liverpool in 2023.
