2024 Masters Odds, Picks & Predictions: Brooks Koepka

It’s Masters week, which means we’ll once again have the pleasure of watching the best golfers in the world take on the greatest golf course in the world, Augusta National.

Augusta is golf paradise, a stunning, immaculately groomed beauty that’s home to some of the most iconic holes on the planet, including the par-3 12th and the par-5 13th. No other course tests a player’s course-management skills and short game quite like Augusta.

This year’s tournament has no shortage of compelling storylines. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is trying to extend his recent run of dominance and win his second Green Jacket. Young stars such as Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay are hoping to break through and win at Augusta for the first time. The stars of the LIV Tour – including defending champion Jon Rahm and past champs Dustin Johnson and Patrick Reed – will once again compete with their PGA Tour counterparts.

Welcome to the third annual BettingPros Guide to The Masters. We’re going to examine the many wagering opportunities this tournament presents, taking a closer look at the golfers with the best chances of earning the coveted Green Jacket. Which players provide betting value and which are bad bets? Sit back and read on.

Course History

It’s been feast or famine with Brooks Koepka at Augusta over the last five years. A pair of second-place finishes are wrapped around a pair of missed cuts and a seventh-place finish in the last half-decade. The five-time Major champion is still a threat to claim his first green jacket despite his defection to the LIV Tour. The Florida State University alum will be making his ninth start here, so there’s plenty of familiarity. Can he head into Sunday in the hunt and finally close the deal?

Recent Form

Koepka has finished progressively worse in each of his five starts on the LIV Tour in 2024, finishing a season-low T-45 in Miami last week. While he’s had success at Augusta, there’s not much to like about his game at the moment.

Betting Outlook

At 18-1, Koepka is a strong fade for me. Yes, he’s got the history to make an argument, but his current form and the low number don’t add up to a smart play.
