2024 Masters Odds, Picks & Predictions: Jordan Spieth

It's Masters week, which means we'll once again have the pleasure of watching the best golfers in the world take on the greatest golf course in the world, Augusta National.

Augusta is golf paradise, a stunning, immaculately groomed beauty that's home to some of the most iconic holes on the planet, including the par-3 12th and the par-5 13th. No other course tests a player's course-management skills and short game quite like Augusta.

This year's tournament has no shortage of compelling storylines. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is trying to extend his recent run of dominance and win his second Green Jacket. Young stars such as Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay are hoping to break through and win at Augusta for the first time. The stars of the LIV Tour - including defending champion Jon Rahm and past champs Dustin Johnson and Patrick Reed - will once again compete with their PGA Tour counterparts.

Welcome to the third annual BettingPros Guide to The Masters. We're going to examine the many wagering opportunities this tournament presents, taking a closer look at the golfers with the best chances of earning the coveted Green Jacket. Course History

Jordan Spieth arrives at The Masters looking for his second-career green jacket after being fitted for the vaunted garment in 2015. Despite the immense pressure, he has generally performed well over the years at Augusta National, posting six top-10 finishes in the past 10 appearances, with just one finish lower than 22nd and one MC in his 10 previous appearances.

Recent Form

Spieth missed the cut at THE PLAYERS Championship and the Valspar Championship, but he posted a 10th-place showing at the Valero Texas Open last week to gain some momentum heading into Augusta.

Betting Outlook

Spieth has managed three top-10 finishes this season. He'll really have to lean into the strokes gained: total category, which is big at Augusta National. He ranks eighth in the category and is also a very good putter. That will come in handy on the beautiful, lush greens in East-Central Georgia.
