This year’s tournament has no shortage of compelling storylines. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is trying to extend his recent run of dominance and win his second Green Jacket. Young stars such as Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay are hoping to break through and win at Augusta for the first time. The stars of the LIV Tour – including defending champion Jon Rahm and past champs Dustin Johnson and Patrick Reed – will once again compete with their PGA Tour counterparts.

Sahith Theegala made his Augusta National debut last year and had an impressive top-10 finish. The 15th-ranked player in the world will be looking to improve on his ninth-place finish in 2023.

Recent Form

Theegala is ranked fourth in strokes gained: total in 2024. In the 10 tournaments he has played this year, Theegala has four top-10 finishes, with two of them coming in his last three events. It appears Theegala may be peaking at just the right time.

Betting Outlook

Theegala has not yet won a Major in his career, but a small bet on an outright win is good value considering how well Theegala has been playing this year. You can also bet Theegala for a top-five (+1000) or top-10 (+400) finish, both of which look like solid bets.
