It’s Masters week, which means we’ll once again have the pleasure of watching the best golfers in the world take on the greatest golf course in the world, Augusta National.

Augusta is golf paradise, a stunning, immaculately groomed beauty that’s home to some of the most iconic holes on the planet, including the par-3 12th and the par-5 13th. No other course tests a player’s course-management skills and short game quite like Augusta.

This year’s tournament has no shortage of compelling storylines. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is trying to extend his recent run of dominance and win his second Green Jacket. Young stars such as Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay are hoping to break through and win at Augusta for the first time. The stars of the LIV Tour – including defending champion Jon Rahm and past champs Dustin Johnson and Patrick Reed – will once again compete with their PGA Tour counterparts.

Course History

Sungjae Im has brought some of his best golf to Augusta National, with two top-10 finishes and three top-20 finishes over the past four years.

Recent Form

The year has not been ideal for Im. After beginning 2024 with a fifth-place finish at The Sentry Championship, Im has only finished in the top 20 once in nine tournaments, missing the cut in three of those events. Im is currently ranked 125th in putting and 134th in approach to green. To have success this week in Georgia, he will have to play much better than he has to this point in the season.

Betting Outlook

It’s hard to be confident in betting Im at the Masters, considering his recent play. However, a top-20 bet (+230) offers decent value for a one-unit wager, considering his past success at Augusta National.
