2024 Masters Odds, Picks & Predictions: Wyndham Clark
It's Masters week, which means we'll once again have the pleasure of watching the best golfers in the world take on the greatest golf course in the world, Augusta National.
Augusta is golf paradise, a stunning, immaculately groomed beauty that's home to some of the most iconic holes on the planet, including the par-3 12th and the par-5 13th. No other course tests a player's course-management skills and short game quite like Augusta.
This year's tournament has no shortage of compelling storylines. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is trying to extend his recent run of dominance and win his second Green Jacket. Young stars such as Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay are hoping to break through and win at Augusta for the first time. The stars of the LIV Tour - including defending champion Jon Rahm and past champs Dustin Johnson and Patrick Reed - will once again compete with their PGA Tour counterparts.
Welcome to the third annual BettingPros Guide to The Masters. We're going to examine the many wagering opportunities this tournament presents, taking a closer look at the golfers with the best chances of earning the coveted Green Jacket. Which players provide betting value and which are bad bets? Sit back and read on.

Course History
Wyndham Clark will make his Masters debut, and he's put up an impressive resumé in the last year. There are certain ways to play each hole and correct approaches that only Masters veterans are aware of. His big driver will help him, as his 309.2-yard average driving distance ranks 10th. While his 52.29% driving accuracy doesn't work on specific courses, Augusta's wide fairways will help him with strokes gained off the tee. Clark twice had the opportunity to play Augusta but turned down those opportunities because he "made a little pact with myself that I wouldnât go until I was eligible to play in the tournament.â That might prove to be a costly mistake. First-timers always have trouble playing the course, and we haven't seen someone win their first time playing The Masters since Fuzzy Zoeller in 1979.
Recent Form
He won his first PGA Tour event shortly after The Masters at the Wells Fargo Championship, followed by his first Major at the U.S. Open. He will be the first player to make his Masters debut as the reigning U.S. Open champion since Orville Moody in 1970. Outside of Scottie Schefter, Clark is playing the best golf of anyone, including shooting a record 60 at Pebble Beach.
Betting Outlook
Augusta is a different beast, and while Clark is coming in as one of the best golfers in the world, don't expect him to do well. His driving and putting should help keep him around for the weekend, but without knowing the course well, he'll make some mistakes that will keep Clark away from the green jacket.
