2024 MLB All-Star Game Same Game Parlay Odds & Picks

The MLB All-Star Game will be featured on Tuesday at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. Although the National League won 3-2 in Seattle last year, the American League has won nine of the previous ten All-Star games.

You should also know that the AL is the home team, as the game will be played at the home of the Texas Rangers.

Can the American League start a new winning streak tonight?

National League vs. American League MLB Same Game Parlay

  • Leg 1: American League (-118)
  • Leg 2: Over 7.5 Runs (-104)
  • Leg 3: Yes Run First Inning (+108)

It’s never easy to predict an All-Star Game. While we know the first-inning starters and opening lineups, that’ll all change inning by inning.

What we do know is how the first inning will shake out.

The National League will ride with Paul Skenes against the top three bats in the American League. Skenes has held his last 125 batters to a .112 ISO and wOBA of .248 with more than 49% of ground balls. However, I should note Skenes has struggled in the first inning throughout the year. He’s also allowed 11.1% of walks to lefties and has induced only 38.5% of ground balls to lefties over the last 30 days.

He’ll take on lefties Steven Kwan, Gunnar Henderson and Juan Soto. If any of those three get on, he’ll also see Aaron Judge and Yordan Alvarez.

Skenes has wicked stuff, but he’s allowed a 10.3% barrel percentage to lefties and has only earned 9.8% of swinging strikes to lefties over the last 30 days. The American League will have five of the first six batters batting from the left side. An early lead for the American League would only help them win and push the game over the total.

On the other hand, the American League will send Corbin Burnes to the mound. Burnes is a right-handed pitcher who has allowed his last 68 righties to hit a .246 ISO and wOBA of .336. These aren’t precisely ace stats for the righty.

Burnes will have to face at least one right-handed batter in Trea Turner. Plus, if the No. 5 spot comes up, Burnes would also have to take on former teammate William Contreras.

Overall, the American League has more depth this year. But don’t be surprised if we get an early run or two from both sides. This same-game parlay is almost at +500 odds, and we’ll know if it’ll hit by the end of the first inning.
