2024 Tour Championship Odds & Picks: Wyndham Clark
The PGA Tour season comes to an end this week with the Tour Championship at the East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta.
It's the final event of the three-event FedEx Cup Playoffs. At stake: the honor of being the FedEx Cup champion and a whole lot of money. The winner of the Tour Championship receives $25 million and a five-year PGA Tour exemption. Second place is worth $12.5 million. Every player in the 30-man field will earn at least $550,000.
The Tour Championship uses a unique "starting strokes" system that rewards players based on the number of FedEx Cup points accumulated so far this season. FedEx Cup points leader Scottie Scheffler will start at -10. No. 2 player Xander Schauffele starts at -8, No. 3 Hideki Matsuyama starts at -7, No. 4 Keegan Bradley starts at -6, and No. 5 Ludvig Aberg starts at -5. The rest of the field is sorted into groups of five, with groups starting at -4, -3, -2, -1 and even par. Bear in mind that betting odds for the Tour Championship take the starting strokes system into account.

Wyndham Clark Tour Championship Course History
Wyndham Clark has only played the Tour Championship once in his career, and he turned in an excellent outing. The 30-year-old made his debut at East Lake in 2023, logging a -16 score over the four days (68-68-68-65). Clark will start in a five-way tie for sixth place on Thursday, sitting at -4 alongside Rory McIlroy, Collin Morikawa, Sam Burns and Patrick Cantlay. Theyâre all looking up the leaderboard at the top-ranked Scottie Scheffler (-10), who's a +115 favorite to win the tournament.
Wyndham Clark Recent Form
Clark is playing well right now, collecting four top-20 finishes in his last five events. Three of those performances saw the American place inside the top 10. Clark hasn't fared well in the big events, though, missing cuts at the Masters, the PGA Championship, and the British Open while placing 56th in the U.S. Open. He'll look to turn the tide this weekend as he tries to build on last year's third-place finish in Georgia.
Wyndham Clark 2024 Tour Championship Betting Outlook
While a 40/1 payout is enticing, I don't know if anyone's catching Scottie Scheffler this weekend, aside from maybe Xander Schauffele (+240). Perhaps the best way to back Wyndham Clark is by betting him to finish inside both the top 10 (-115 via DraftKings) and top five (+280 via DraftKings). Clark has only played this course once before, but he dominated it. He has also been in excellent form recently, posting three top-10s in his last five events.
