It’s Masters week, arguably the best week of the year for fans of professional golf. The Masters is a rite of spring and the unofficial start of golf season in America.
The best players in the game will take on what many regard as the best and most gorgeous golf course in the world, Augusta National. But Augusta is a treacherous beauty that challenges players with lightning-fast greens, severe elevation changes, narrow passages between trees, and scorecard-wrecking water hazards and bunkers.
Can the No. 1 player in the world, Scottie Scheffler, win his third Green Jacket in four years? Is this finally Rory McIlroy's year? Or will a young star such as Ludvig Aberg or Collin Morikawa prevail at Augusta? And let's not forget about the LIV Tour players. Jon Rahm, Patrick Reed and Sergio Garcia are among the LIV players who have won The Masters before. Maybe it's Bryson DeChambeau's turn this year.
Welcome to the fourth annual BettingPros Guide to The Masters. We’re going to examine the many wagering opportunities this tournament presents, taking a closer look at the players contending for the coveted Green Jacket. Which players provide betting value and which are bad bets? Read on for our 2025 Masters predictions for Justin Rose.

Course History
Justin Rose has finished in second place twice at the Masters, including a painful sudden-death playoff loss to Sergio Garcia in 2017. More recently, though, Rose has missed the cut in two of the last three years at Augusta.
Recent Form
Through six tournaments in the 2025 season, Rose has missed the cut in three and has had two top-10 finishes. This past week at the Valero Texas Open, he finished 47th, breaking his streak of either finishing in the top 10 or missing the cut.
Betting Outlook: 2025 Masters Predictions
It’s not out of the realm of possibilities that Rose could play well this week. He has two career second-place finishes at Augusta. Considering his more recent Augusta finishes and the fact that his first attempt at the Masters was over 20 years ago, the reasonable move here is to stay away.
However, Rose being in the mix on Sunday would be a fun story for someone on the short list of the best golfers never to win a Green Jacket. If you like to make small bets to have a piece of a fun narrative, Rose could be a nice longshot bet to follow along with.
