2025 Masters Odds, Picks & Predictions: Max Greyserman

It’s Masters week, arguably the best week of the year for fans of professional golf. The Masters is a rite of spring and the unofficial start of golf season in America.

The best players in the game will take on what many regard as the best and most gorgeous golf course in the world, Augusta National. But Augusta is a treacherous beauty that challenges players with lightning-fast greens, severe elevation changes, narrow passages between trees, and scorecard-wrecking water hazards and bunkers.

Can the No. 1 player in the world, Scottie Scheffler, win his third Green Jacket in four years? Is this finally Rory McIlroy's year? Or will a young star such as Ludvig Aberg or Collin Morikawa prevail at Augusta. And let's not forget about the LIV Tour players. Jon Rahm, Patrick Reed and Sergio Garcia are among the LIV players who have won The Masters before. Maybe it's Bryson DeChambeau's turn this year.

Welcome to the fourth annual BettingPros Guide to The Masters. We’re going to examine the many wagering opportunities this tournament presents, taking a closer look at the players contending for the coveted Green Jacket. Which players provide betting value and which are bad bets? Read on for our 2025 Masters predictions for Max Greyserman.

Course History

Greyserman is another debutante at Augusta National this week, earning his way in thanks to a Top 50 in the final world ranking in 2024. This will be just his third-ever major event on the PGA Tour, appearing in the 2017 U.S. Open at Erin Hills, his debut event, and a T21 at the U.S. Open at Pinehurst No. 2 last season.

Recent Form: 2025 Masters Predictions

Greyserman arrives at Augusta National with very little momentum. He had a solid T11 at the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches, while turning in a T22 at the Arnold Palmer. However, he missed the cut at both THE PLAYERS Championship, and the Texas Children’s Houston Open, which wasn’t exactly the tune-up he needed. Perhaps he was caught looking ahead, and the excitement of the upcoming Masters got to him. But, with back-to-back missed cuts, conviction isn’t strong that he is going to be able to turn things around.

Betting Outlook: 2025 Masters Predictions

Backing a debutante at a place like Augusta National takes a lot of guts, and it isn’t necessarily something I’m interested in. The 29-year-old from Duke was sailing along nicely in the early part of the season, including a T7 at The American Express on the Pete Dye Stadium Course back in mid-January. He has five finishes inside the Top 25 in 10 events this season. As such, rolling the dice on Greyserman for a top-20 finish (+400) is still a little on the risky side, but less so, while still presenting a very good value.
