It’s Masters week, arguably the best week of the year for fans of professional golf. The Masters is a rite of spring and the unofficial start of golf season in America.
The best players in the game will take on what many regard as the best and most gorgeous golf course in the world, Augusta National. But Augusta is a treacherous beauty that challenges players with lightning-fast greens, severe elevation changes, narrow passages between trees, and scorecard-wrecking water hazards and bunkers.
Can the No. 1 player in the world, Scottie Scheffler, win his third Green Jacket in four years? Is this finally Rory McIlroy's year? Or will a young star such as Ludvig Aberg or Collin Morikawa prevail at Augusta? And let's not forget about the LIV Tour players. Jon Rahm, Patrick Reed and Sergio Garcia are among the LIV players who have won The Masters before. Maybe it's Bryson DeChambeau's turn this year.

Course History
Rasmus Hojgaard will be making his Masters debut, and it's always difficult for debutants when they first step onto this course. He will have the unique advantage of possibly getting some coaching on the course.
Hojgaard will also be a part of history as he and his brother Nicolai will be the first set of twins to compete in The Masters. Nicolai competed last year, finished tied for 16th place and even held the lead briefly in the third round. We'll see if he gives some advice to his brother.
Recent Form
Hojgaard is still searching for his first career win in his young career. The 2025 season started well for Hojgaard, with a t-22nd and a t-12th finish, but he has struggled since, with three missed cuts and two finishes outside the top 30.
Betting Outlook: 2025 Masters Predictions
He has a ton of power off the tee and is one of the best on the tour. Besides a couple of par 5s, that type of approach doesn't always play well on this course. Hojgaard needs to have the complete game, but he's not there yet.
