2025 Masters Odds, Picks & Predictions: Sergio Garcia

It’s Masters week, arguably the best week of the year for fans of professional golf. The Masters is a rite of spring and the unofficial start of golf season in America.
The best players in the game will take on what many regard as the best and most gorgeous golf course in the world, Augusta National. But Augusta is a treacherous beauty that challenges players with lightning-fast greens, severe elevation changes, narrow passages between trees, and scorecard-wrecking water hazards and bunkers.
Can the No. 1 player in the world, Scottie Scheffler, win his third Green Jacket in four years? Is this finally Rory McIlroy's year? Or will a young star such as Ludvig Aberg or Collin Morikawa prevail at Augusta? And let's not forget about the LIV Tour players. Jon Rahm, Patrick Reed and Sergio Garcia are among the LIV players who have won The Masters before. Maybe it's Bryson DeChambeau's turn this year.
Welcome to the fourth annual BettingPros Guide to The Masters. We’re going to examine the many wagering opportunities this tournament presents, taking a closer look at the players contending for the coveted Green Jacket. Which players provide betting value and which are bad bets? Read on for our 2025 Masters predictions for Sergio Garcia.

Course History
Sergio Garcia is a former Masters winner, taking the gold jacket in 2017 after winning a playoff against Justin Rose, but he has had a rocky history with the tournament. He turned pro after shooting the lowest score by an amateur in the 1999 Masters; he finished t-38th and did not improve in 2000 (t-40th).
After missing the cut in 2001, Garcia finished in eighth place in 2002. Over the years, he has taken part in the Masters 25 times, missed the cut in 10, and finished inside the top 10 four times:
- 2002: 8th
- 2004: t-4th
- 2013: t-8th
- 2017: 1st
Since his win in 2017, Garcia has failed to make the cut in five out of six tournaments, including the last two. He set the record for most strokes on a single hole when he carded a 13 on the 15th hole in 2018. The one time he made the cut was in 2022, finishing t-23rd.
Recent Form
Garcia has been playing on the LIV Tour since 2023. During the 2025 season, he appeared at four events, most recently in Singapore (March 14-16), where he finished t-32nd. However, he finished first in Hong Kong the week before, t-18th in Adelaide (Feb 14-16), and t-6th in Riyadh (Feb 6-8). He missed the cut at the 2024 Masters after carding a 72 and 79 in the first two rounds for a +7.
Betting Outlook: 2025 Masters Predictions
Don't waste your money betting on Garcia to win (+8000), place in the top five (+1100) or in the top 10 (+450). Yes, he has played some good rounds on the LIV Tour, but his history at Augusta has been terrible since his 2017 win. There is no reason to believe it will be any better this time. However, he can be had at +205 to miss the cut. I'm taking that bet.
