2025 Masters Odds, Picks & Predictions: Top 5 and Top 10 Bets

The first major of the 2025 PGA Tour season brings us to Augusta National Golf Club for the Masters Tournament. Scottie Scheffler has won two green jackets since 2022. He’s the defending champion once again and valued as the outright betting favorite by oddsmakers at +400 odds, followed by Rory McIlroy at +650 odds.

Let’s have some fun and target a few golfers in the Top 5 and Top 10 Finish betting markets on DraftKings Sportsbook ahead of Round 1 teeing off on Thursday morning. Each of these recommendations is worth a one-unit wager. Follow me on X at Matt_MacKay_ for more free bets and weekly analysis throughout the 2025 PGA Tour season.

Top 5 and Top 10 Bets for 2025 Masters

Rory McIlroy – Top 5 (+150)

The Masters has been the one major Rory McIlroy has not been able to win during his highly-decorated golfing career. McIlroy infamously blew a 54-hole lead on Sunday back in 2011 at Augusta National, shooting an 80 to slide into a T15 finish.

Northern Ireland’s star golfer has been red-hot to start 2025. McIlroy has two outright wins in five events, coming through at Pebble Beach and in a playoff over J.J. Spaun at The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass a couple of weeks ago. He’s ranked first in total strokes gained, including SG: Off-the-Tee, 10th SG: Putting, 19th SG: Approach, and fourth scrambling.

McIlroy has two top-five finishes in two of his last four outings at the Masters. He missed the cut in 2021 and 2023, while carding a T22 finish in 2024. He’s in good form and should contend for the outright win, so let’s bet a unit on McIlroy to log his fourth top-five finish at Augusta National at +150 odds.

Russell Henley – Top 5 (+850)

Russell Henley’s playing with momentum entering the Masters. The Georgia native made a late push to beat Collin Morikawa at the Arnold Palmer Invitational with a clutch eagle chip on the 16th hole.

Henley has only logged one top-five finish at Augusta National, which he did in 2023, shooting a 67 in Round 2. Last year, Henley regressed with a T38 finish.

He’s ranked sixth in total strokes gained. This includes 22nd SG: Approach, 19th SG: Putting, 11th in driving accuracy, and finding greens in regulation at 72.8 percent, ranked third-best on the PGA Tour in 2025. Henley is also fifth in scoring average, fourth in birdie average, and second on par 4s.

At +850, we cannot ignore the value available on Henley. He’ll wind up recording a top 5 finish for the second time in three years at Augusta National this weekend.

Collin Morikawa – Top 10 (+150)

Despite only playing the Masters five times, Collin Morikawa has recorded a top 10 finish in three straight appearances at Augusta National. Wins have eluded Morikawa on the PGA Tour, despite ranking as one of the best ball-strikers.

He’s landing +150 odds for a fourth consecutive top 10 finish at the Masters this week. Ranked second in total strokes gained, which includes 12th SG: Off-the-Tee, 1st SG: Approach, and first in proximity, there’s little to dislike about Morikawa’s upside this week in Augusta.

Morikawa leads the PGA Tour in birdie average (5.2) per round, 10th on par 4s, fourth in scoring average, fifth in putting average, and 20th in scrambling. His stats are extremely impressive, so backing him in a top 10 finish market at +150, instead of outright at +1800, is a better investment to make on Morikawa during his return to Augusta National.

Brooks Koepka – Top 10 (+280)

It’s been a rollercoaster ride with Brooks Koepka at the Masters over the years. The LIV golfer has a pair of runner-up finishes at Augusta National in 2019 and 2023. In 2024, Koepka carded a T45 finish, his worst outing asides from missing the cut in 2021 and 2022.

He’s a powerful hitter with great touch around the greens. Koepka’s putter is key to cashing a top 10 finish prop at +280 odds, particularly on these undulating, fast-paced Bentgrass greens.

Between 2019 and 2023, Koepka had three top-ten finishes. Two of these came after missing the cut in back-to-back outings, so I expect a similar outcome from Koepka in a bounce-back effort at Augusta National this week.
