Aryna Sabalenka 2023 Wimbledon Best Bets: Odds, Picks & Predictions

Since Serena Williams won back-to-back Wimbledon titles in 2015 and 2016, the sixth and seventh such titles of her career, the Women’s side at the All England Lawn Tennis Club has been wide open. Garbine Muguruza, Angelique Kerber, Simona Halep, Ashleigh Barty, and Elena Rybakina have made it five different first-time winners in the last five years at Wimbledon, and none of those champions have even reached a final in any other year in that span. In fact, over the previous three Wimbledons, six different women have reached the final. World No. 1 Iga Swiatek and No. 2 Aryna Sabalenka have won the first two Grand Slams of the season. Will either of them make it six consecutive years with a first-time Wimbledon winner? Or can someone else ranked fourth or lower on the odds leaderboard (at +1300 odds or lower) make a nice payday for futures bettors?

2023 Wimbledon Best Bets & Picks: Aryna Sabalenka

Here is our betting outlook for 2023 Wimbledon.

2023 Wimbledon Betting Predictions

If Aryna Sabalenka wins Wimbledon and Iga Swiatek does not reach the final, she would move to world No. 1. Sabalenka will have to fight the media distractions after all Russian and Belarusian players were banned from competing at Wimbledon last year. She, at one point, ran off 13 consecutive wins earlier this year and won a title in Madrid to go with her maiden Grand Slam victory at the Australian Open this year. She is 4-1 head-to-head against Elena Rybakina, who may not even make it out of her quarter as many have labeled her group as the “quarter of death,” and she is one of four women with +600 odds or shorter to reach the semifinals out of her region. Sabalenka also owns three wins against world No. 1 Iga Swiatek and has matched her with three singles titles this season.

2023 Wimbledon Betting Advice & Picks

Arguably Sabalenka’s toughest match of the tournament would be in the semifinals against whoever wins Quarter 3. If she were to get by that match and meet Swiatek in the final, we would expect Sabalenka’s powerful serve and heavy groundstrokes to carry her through, making her +600 pre-tournament odds worth a play.
