Tuesday night, he proved that he can still score in droves. He went 9-14, including 5-9 from three-point range, to score 35 points. He also got to the free throw line 12 times and made all of them.
Harden has averaged under 22.5 points only once since 2012, which was last year when he got traded to Philadelphia. Having a new coach and teammates, and dealing with lingering injuries all contributed to having a down year. Harden has had the off-season to settle into his new team, and he should be back on track to continue to be one of the best scoring guards in the NBA. That makes this one of the best-valued player props of the day.
