Sony Michel Rush Attempts Over 4.5 -135 at DraftKings Sportsbook

Before Cam Akers made his improbable return this postseason after missing the entire regular season with a torn Achilles, Michel was this team’s workhorse. While Darrell Henderson Jr. saw some snaps, Michel accounted for more than 60% of the Rams running back snaps helping guide this team to the playoffs.

And while Akers is now getting the lion’s share in the postseason, Michel still has averaged 8 attempts per game in their three thus far. He also has racked up higher yards per rush (3.3) than Akers to this point, and I expect head coach Sean McVay to ride that production here accordingly.

Also, it’s worth noting the topic of ball security, especially in a game like this where one fumble could cost the Rams everything. In the 17 regular-season games played, Michel fumbled just once. In the three postseason games Akers has played, he’s fumbled twice, losing both and almost costing the Rams the season vs. the Bucs.

Don’t be surprised if Michel is leaned on heavily as the more sure-handed of the running backs in the Rams’ arsenal.

Cooper Kupp Receiving Yards Over 105.5 |  -115 at DraftKings Sportsbook

This number continues to creep up all week but I feel comfortable playing it at anything below 108. Leading the NFL this regular season in receptions, yards, and touchdowns, all eyes were on Kupp entering the postseason. Not only did his production not decrease, but he’s actually averaging 14 yards more (128.7) per game than he did in the regular season.

The emergence of OBJ into a slightly slower form of his former (prime) self has made Kupp only that much more productive and QB Matthew Stafford’s defacto WR1. Add in the fact the Bengals rank #26 in the league against the pass this season, and expect another field day from the Stafford-Kupp connection.
