This has the makings to be a great game between two teams who flew a bit under the radar before the season. The Dynasty vs. The High Riser, and they both like to shoot the three-ball. There is actually a boost like this for both games, but I expect Philadelphia to have Joel Embiid go to work inside to set up the three-ball, whereas I think both of these teams are more likely to come out of the gates gunning. Look for Steph Curry, Klay, Anthony Edwards, and KAT to all get attempts in this time and at least two to fall.

LeBron James has been developing his game since he was a sixteen-year-old in Akron, Ohio, and that commitment to excellence has made him one of the best to ever play. With that being said, his three-point shot has looked much improved, and I expect him to stay away from the paint when Embiid is in there more often than not, resulting in a bunch of tries from three. As for Embiid, he is my MVP to this point, he can score at will from all three levels, and there is no one that can guard him. Look for him to get whatever he wants at the rim, and shoot a little more from beyond the arc as he is shooting well from there. I wouldn’t expect him to contribute more than two to the total.

Jack Hughes has a point in four straight games, is playing some great hockey, and has nice value here. He has hit this in five of his 24 games, or 20.8%. Boosting this to +450 lowers the expected rate of hitting to 18.8%, giving you a rare edge on a sportsbook. I don’t care what sport they are playing, if they are offering value I am on it!
AVOID: Karl-Anthony Towns to Record OVER 39.5 Pts/Reb/Ast vs. Warriors @ +125 on BetRivers
This is a weird one for me, as I think this will hit, but their “boost†is still lower than the official line. I think it will hit because while the Warriors are one of the better teams at defending on the perimeter in the league, but Towns is a beast in the paint. In two of his last three games, he has had 20+ point double-doubles, with at least four assists. With that being said, the line is set on DraftKings at 36.5 for -115 and you can find the Alternate line for his PRA on FanDuel at OVER 39.5 for +134. If you are interested in either of these lines, look to another book. Bet smarter not harder!
