Letâs take a look at the best odds, picks, and predictions for this weekâs Big3 basketball action.
Big3 Basketball Best Bets
Here are our best bets for this week of Big3 basketball action.
3 Headed Monsters vs. Ball Hogs
The main question heading into this game is whether or not the 3 Headed Monsters can score with the Ball Hogs. The 3 Headed Monsters have scored over 50 points just once this season, and they scored just 26 points last week against Trilogy. Meanwhile, the Ball Hogs, led by Jodie Meeks and Leandro Barbosa have scored 50 points in all but one game this season. In that game, they scored 49. They have been one of the most consistent offensive teams in the league this season, and we expect them to clear 50 again this week. But defensively, they havenât been great. Though the 3 Headed Monsters arenât that good offensively, we like them to at least score 43 in this game and send this total over.
Pick: Over 92.5 (-115)
-Phil Wood
Triplets vs. Aliens
Not only are the Aliens the only team without a win this season, they havenât really been competitive in any of their four contests. They have lost three of their four games by double-digits, and theyâre not showing any signs of improvement. Meanwhile, the Triplets are tied for the best record in the league, and have won three in a row since their Week 1 loss to Bivouac. This spread is likely so low because the Triplets only defeated the 1-3 team of 3âs Company by three last week. But 3âs Company is better than their record indicates. The Aliens arenât. Take the Triplets to cover a spread that should be closer to 6.5.
Pick: Triplets -4.5 (-115)
-Phil Wood
Tri-State vs. Trilogy
Tri-State looked absolutely terrible in their Week 4 loss to Ghost Ballers. They didnât score over 20 points in either half, as they were blown out 50-33. Meanwhile, their opponents in Trilogy, picked up a much-needed 50-36 win after losing two in a row. The victory came because of an outstanding 27-point performance from Ryan Carter. Carter missed the first two games of the season, but he has scored 34 in Trilogyâs last two games. I like Jason Richardson to have a much better game this weekend that he did last weekend, and Tri-State will be playing not just for a postseason berth, but also pride. However, the trio of Earl Clark, Isaiah Briscoe, and now, Ryan Carter will be too much for Tri-State to handle.
Pick: Trilogy -2.5 (-115)
-Phil Wood
Power vs. Ghost Ballers
Power finished off the Ball Hogs last weekend and are now 3-1 on the Big3 season. They're led by Royce White and Glen Rice Jr. But they're also getting solid production from T.J. Cline, Cuttino Mobley, and Akil Mitchell. This is one of the lone teams that has production from the entire roster. White and Cline are shooting above 50% and Rice Jr. is shooting 48.8% from the field. They'll take on the Ghost Ballers, who are also 3-1 after a massive win against Tri-State, 50-33. The Ghost Ballers have gotten 62 points from Mike Taylor and 53 from Jonathan Simmons. However, neither player is shooting above .47% from the field. Still, Taylor, Simmons, and Chris Johnson have all shot at least 50% from downtown. So that's going to help. I think this will be a close game down to the wire. Give me the Over.
Pick: Over 92.5 (-115)

Bivouac vs. 3âs Company
Bivouac fell to 2-2 with a demoralizing loss to Killer 3's on Saturday. Bivouac lost, 50-24 against the Killer 3's. This team has Corey Brewer, Gerland Green, and Garlon Green. But they've got little depth and a terrible shooting percentage. Meanwhile, they'll take on 3's Company that just lost in a close game to the Triplets. 3's Company is now 1-3 but are starting to play better. Michael Beasley has added 84 points but has only shot 39.5% from the field. Mario Chalmers has scored 46 but no other player has added more than 22 for 3's Company. Both teams have looked dreadful. But the best player on the floor will be Michael Beasley. Give me 3's Company in this one.
Pick: 3âs Company +2.5 (-120)

Killer 3âs vs. Enemies
The Killer 3's are currently 3-1 in the Big3 after earning a 50-24 victory over Bivouac. Donte Greene has shined, scoring 79 points this season. Franklin Session is behind him with 46 points, but he's only shot 29.2% from the field. They'll take on the Enemies, who are 2-2 in the Big3. The Enemies have gotten 84 points from Jordan Crawford. He's shot 55% from the field and 64.7% from downtown. Elijah Stewart hasn't shot the ball too well but has at least helped out in the rebounding category. The Enemies don't pass very much. But I still think their offense will outshine the Killer 3's. Back the Enemies.
Pick: Enemies +4.5 (-115)
