- Leg 1: Brook Lopez Over 11.5 Points (-130)
- Leg 2: Bobby Portis Over 11.5 Points (-104)
- Leg 3: Bobby Portis Over 8.5 Rebounds (+108)
I’m backing the Milwaukee bigs in this one.
Brook Lopez has been a little bit below the radar this season. He’s averaged 14.8 points per game while shooting above 50% on the season.
Lopez has added at least 14 points in each of his last four games and has two games with at least 23 points, including a 30-point performance against the Pelicans. Lopez shot 4.4 threes per night in December and has expanded his game lately.
Meanwhile, Bobby Portis is simply averaging a double-double per night. I’m expecting that type of performance against the Celtics.
Portis is averaging nearly 12 shots per game and has earned just under 25 minutes per night in December. He’s scored 14.4 points per game in the month and has added 9.2 rebounds per game. He’s hit nine rebounds in 69% of games and has scored at least 12 points in 63% of games this year.
Bet on Portis to notch a double double. Or we’ll take nine rebounds. That’s fine too.
