Alcaraz regained the No. 1 ATP world ranking after beating Alex De Minaur in the final at the Queen's Club in London, his first-ever grass-court title. Many were left to wonder "what if" had Alcaraz not suffered from cramps in what was looking like an epic semifinal match at the French Open against Novak Djokovic. However, Alcaraz is much more of a clay-court specialist than he is on grass, and was even quoted as saying "I am not saying I am not capable of beating Djokovic, but I think I have less chances [on grass] than on other surfaces."
