College Basketball Odds, Picks & Predictions: Pac-12 Tournament (2024)
Enjoy it while you can!
The final Pac-12 Menâs Basketball Tournament will begin on March 13 and conclude on March 16 when the conference crowns a conference champion.
The Pac-12 will not be the same after this season. There might never be another legitimate season of Pac-12 basketball after this year. So again, enjoy this one.
That said, the 2024 bracket has been finalized. Arizona is the No. 1 seed and the favorite to win the conference championship this season. Can the Wildcats survive, or will another team steal the conference championship and earn an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament?
Below are my picks and predictions for the Pac-12 Tournament.

Favorite to Watch
Arizona Wildcats (-160 at DraftKings)
The Arizona Wildcats are the favorites to win the Pac-12 for the third consecutive season.
Arizona ultimately has two of the top five best players in the conference, Caleb Love and Oumar Ballo. Both of Arizonaâs best players are seniors with extensive experience.
Love scored 18.7 points per game with 4.9 rebounds and 3.4 assists, while Ballo added 13.1 points and ten rebounds per game. Those two helped Arizona improve the teamâs offensive and defensive efficiency in Pac-12 play this season. Arizona shot a 55.5% effective field goal percentage and added 35.5% of offensive rebounds.
Theyâre slated to play the winner of USC and Washington. If USC defeats Washington, the Trojans will face an Arizona team they just beat to close out the regular season, 78-65. USC is a live dog but is also the best longshot play. Youâll read about them below.
Top Live Underdog
Arizona State (+16000 at DraftKings)
I donât necessarily think Arizona State will win the Pac-12 Tournament. However, Utah has played two games against Arizona State this season and lost both. Now theyâll have to take on Sun Devils again in the first round of the Tournament. Thatâs where it gets stinky for the Utes and uplifting for the Sun Devils.
The first game was 82-70, and the second was 85-77. One game was at home, and one was on the road.
If Arizona State escapes with a win, they will face Colorado. Then, if you let it ride and the Sun Devils knock off Colorado some how, the Sun Devils would likely face Washington State next.
On February 24, Arizona State added a 73-61 win over Washington State, so you ultimately never know. Arizona State got a solid draw if weâre being hoenst. I wouldnât be as confident against Colorado, but you can hedge a little and see where the bet goes.
Even a win against Utah would change the odds immensely heading into the next round.
Best Longshot Play
USC Trojans (+4000 at DraftKings)
The USC Trojans didnât have an exciting year. They finished the regular season 14-17 and, thanks to a losing record, wonât even qualify for an NIT bid.
However, USC has won four of its last five games and has a lot of talent to earn many upsets.
Just look at USCâs play since February 15. The Trojans knocked off Utah, lost to Colorado in double overtime, defeated UCLA, lost to Washington State by three, and then won three straight over Washington, Arizona State, and Arizona.
They will be difficult to beat, with Isaiah Collier leading the way. The freshman has added nearly 17 points per game and has shot about 49% from the field. The Trojans have played so much better as of late. Donât count them out.
The Trojans are my actual best bet heading into the first round.
