Elon at Hampton – 2:00 p.m. ET

The Phoenix of Elon and the Pirates of Hampton square off in a Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Conference battle in the Tidewater.

Hampton is coming off a 107-86 loss at home against the College of Charleston while dropping 11 games in a row. The Pirates have yielded 80 or more points in four straight outings, and seven of the previous eight contests. The Over is 6-2 in that eight-game span, too.

For the Phoenix, Elon has cashed the Over in four in a row, allowing 78 or more points in each of the past five contests. There is some risk, as the Over/Under has split 4-4 in eight road contests for Elon. Still, both of these teams aren’t very good at defense, and we should get a higher-scoring game in this matinee CAA matchup.

Bets: Over 158.5 Total Points (-106)

Buffalo at Eastern Michigan – 3:30 p.m. ET

The Bulls of Buffalo hit the road for Ypsilanti to battle the Eagles of Eastern Michigan in a Mid-American Conference (MAC) showdown.

Buffalo has dropped five in a row while going just 2-16 SU in 18 games overall. Buffalo is 1-4 against the spread (ATS) in the past five games, as well. The Bulls have had difficulty scoring the basketball, going for 66 or fewer points in each of the past four games, and 12 of the past 14 games overall. Buffalo ranks 325th in the nation with 67.2 PPG, while hitting just 41.1% from the field to rank 327th. The Bulls are even worse from deep, converting at just 26.1% from behind the 3-point line, too. Defensively, Buffalo is terrible, too, allowing 79.6 PPG, while teams hit at a 48.5% clip from the floor. That’s not a good combination for wins.

Eastern Michigan isn’t much better, dropping five in a row while failing to cover each game. Buffalo has won four in a row, and nine of the past 10 games, in this series, while covering three of the past four, and seven of the previous 10 outings.

Buffalo is worth a look catching nearly two buckets.

Bet: Buffalo +3.5 (+110)

Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at Northwestern State – 4:00 p.m. ET

The Islanders of AMCC hit the road in this Southland Conference battle. They’ve notched a respectable five wins in their past seven games while going an impressive 8-1 ATS over the previous nine contests.

For the Demons of Northwestern State, they lost at Southeastern Louisiana last time out by a 71-62 score snapping a three-game win streak and four-game cover streak. Northwestern State hasn’t had a lot of luck against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in recent seasons, losing four straight meetings, while going just 2-8 SU in the past 10 in the series. The Demons have failed to cover the past four meetings.

Texas A&M-Corpus Christi has been on fire against the number, and series trends point to the Islanders, as well.

Bet: Texas A&M-Corpus Christi -5.5 (-104)

Cal Poly SLO at Hawaii – 11:59 p.m. ET

We get a Big West Conference battle in the islands to wrap up a full day of basketball.

Cal Poly SLO has dropped eight games in a row since its last outright win on December 21 against Omaha, while covering just three times in the past 11 games overall. They did cover in a 54-51 loss against Cal State Fullerton last time out on Thursday as a 5.5-point underdog. The Under has cashed in four of the past five games while going 7-3 across the past 10 contests.

Hawaii has dropped three in a row while failing to cover in the past six games. The Rainbow Warriors have covered just once in the past 10 games, as well, so something’s gotta give. The Under has hit in eight of their past 12 games. Hawaii has scored just 70.1 PPG while hitting only 32.2% from behind the 3-point line. Additionally, the defense allows 67.2 PPG, which is a good combination for the Under.

Cal Poly is also dismal offensively, going for 62.8 PPG to rank 355th in the nation while hitting at just a 40.1% clip from the field, and 30.6% from behind the 3-point line. This is also a bad free throw shooting team, hitting 70.3% to rank 226th. They leave a lot of points on the floor, which is very pleasing to Under bettors.

Bets: Under 126.5 Total Points (-114)
