Wednesday’s Best CFB Player Props

(Odds courtesy of Caesars Sportsbook)

Omarion Hampton Over 115.5 Rushing Yards (-117)

The North Carolina Tar Heels won’t have Drake Maye at quarterback. They’ll also be without their starting center and Tez Walker at wide receiver.

But the offense still has Omarion Hampton, who rushed for 1,442 yards and 15 touchdowns this season as a sophomore.

West Virginia allowed 144.33 yards per game on the ground this season. The team will also be without multiple safeties and a major defensive lineman in Mike Lockhart, who played over 400 snaps for the Mountaineers this season.

North Carolina’s game plan is to get the ball in their best play-maker’s hands.

Jack Plummer Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-137)

The Louisville Cardinals won’t have a bunch of their star players for this game. RB Jawhar Jordan and WR Jamari Thrash will miss the bowl due to preparing for the NFL Draft.

That’s a combined 21 total touchdowns lost between the two.

However, Plummer still has seven different receivers that have added at least 16 receptions this season.

While Louisville will lose a couple of significant pieces, USC will lose much more.

The Trojans had multiple opt-outs and watched five significant defensive players transfer out of the program, too.

Plummer doesn’t make the best decisions as a veteran should. But he’s facing a USC defense that was torched by multiple teams this season. Let’s give Plummer a chance.

Jaylen Henderson Over 35.5 Rushing Yards (-121)

Things aren’t moving in the right direction for the Texas A&M Aggies. They’ve got 14 significant players in the transfer portal and a handful of substantial opt-outs.

Jaylen Henderson is playing with a bunch of backups on offense. He’s also being coached by a guy who already signed with Syracuse for next season in Elijah Robinson.

Henderson’s going to be running for his life at quarterback. In four games, he’s already rushed 41 times for 104 yards, averaging 2.5 yards a carry. That’s not a great rate. However, Oklahoma State allowed 174 yards per game on the ground this season.

If Henderson rushes the ball about ten times, he’ll likely break out for a big gain on one of them. Take his Over.
