Mike Farrell’s College Football Conference Championships Player Prop Bets Picks & Predictions (2022)

Clemson QB DJ Uiagalelei UNDER 45.5 rushing yards vs. North Carolina (-110)

I like this for two reasons. First, the total is high to me despite how poor the UNC defense is. And secondly, DJU might not even play the entire game as Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney has been heavily criticized for sticking with his struggling QB for too long. If Clemson gets off to a poor offensive start we will see Cade Klubnik early. This is a double mash bet.

Georgia WR Ladd McConkey OVER 50.5 receiving yards vs. LSU (-115)

McConkey hasn’t been putting up crazy stats this season or recently which is why this number is low to me. He hasn’t had a 100-yard game all season but he has gone over this number six times in 12 games. LSU’s defense is banged up a bit and the secondary has given up more than 50.5 to their opponents leading receiver in each of their last eight games. The question to ask here — is Brock Bowers going to get more targets? I think McConkey will be overlooked a bit by the defense and be the top target for Stetson Bennett.

Purdue WR Charlie Jones OVER 78.5 receiving yards vs. Michigan (-125)

The Michigan defense is stingy and Aidan O’Connell is banged up, but I love this number for a couple of reasons. If Purdue hangs in this game it will be because Jones extends the run game with short passes. And if they fall behind big? He will be the main target as they pass the ball even more. He’s good for 12-14 targets and should hit OVER this number.

Fresno State QB Jake Haener UNDER 296.5 passing yards vs. Boise State (-115)

This is a high number and Boise State has a solid defense. They rarely give up a 300-yard passer and while Haener is talented and has put up more than 300 in all but one game since his return from injury in October, he hasn’t faced a team this good. He will get the passing attempts that’s for sure but I see him coming shy of this number against the best defense he’s faced all season.

LSU QB Jayden Daniels UNDER 38.5 rushing yards vs. Georgia (-115)

I got fooled by an ankle injury last week as I felt Oregon’s Bo Nix would push through and run more. And while Daniels is the best rushing threat on the LSU team by far, when you account for a gimpy ankle and a few sacks from a nasty UGA defense he should fall well below this number.
