It's the end of the regular season, and as we get ready for the bowl and CFB Playoff games, there’s still one more rivalry game that needs to be played. It’s time for the annual Army vs. Navy game. No matter how these teams have played that season, they will bring their best. That won't be a stretch this year because both teams were incredible. Navy (8-3) and Army (11-1) have a combined 19 wins, the most going into any of their 124 previous matchups.
We're used to seeing these games be low-scoring because of their offensive style, but these offensives were much better than in the previous year. Each scored 32 points per game, which is in the top 40. Army went over this total in nine of 12 games, and Navy went over in eight of 11, so we have seen their games be higher-scoring this season. It will be strange to see this game turn high-scoring, but we should see plenty of trips to the end zone.
Bryson Daily will help lead the Black Knights. His position might say quarterback, but he threw just 78 passes. Compare that to the 264 carries, so look for him to use his legs the most. This could be a matchup where he excels as the Midshipmen are 85th in rushing yards allowed and 83rd in defensive rush success rate.
