College Football Same Game Parlay Picks for Tuesday’s Bowl Games (12/31)

We’ve got five college football games on Tuesday.

We won’t cover the Boise State-Penn State game. That’s already got separate articles. However, we’ll look at the other matchups on the slate.

After reviewing all four games, I’ve assembled two same-game parlays (SGPs). I’ve decided not to add a parlay for the Michigan-Alabama or Louisville-Washington games. I’m more confident in the other two matchups (South Carolina-Illinois and Baylor-LSU).

Let’s have a day.

South Carolina Gamecocks vs. Illinois Fighting Illini (Citrus Bowl)

    • Leg 1: LaNorris Sellers Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+100)
    • Leg 2: Joshua Simon Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+150
    • Leg 3: Nyck Harbor Over 37.5 Receiving Yards (-114)

LaNorris Sellers has become a star at South Carolina. The freshman quarterback has scored three rushing touchdowns in his last two games. He added a rushing touchdown in three of his previous five games. Illinois has allowed 22.08 points per game. It also gave up 150.58 yards per game on the ground this season. The biggest weakness for Illinois is the pass rush. Sellers should be able to scramble around the defense and find gaps on designed runs.

When Sellers isn’t running the ball, he’s looking for tight end Joshua Simon in the end zone. Simon scored a touchdown in four of his last five games and has added five touchdowns in his previous five games. Simon doesn’t get a lot of volume, but the volume always comes around the end zone. That said, he’s also very capable of breaking out for a big play. He had a 57-yard play against Texas A&M and recorded a 30-yard play against Missouri. He’ll be a major part of this offense.

We also can’t forget Nyck Harbor. The sophomore receiver has recorded at least 40 receiving yards in five of his last six games. He’s hit this line in four of his last five games and earned 51 receiving yards against Clemson the previous time out.

Harber hasn’t earned more than three receptions in any game this year. But he’s consistently earning three receptions and has averaged more than 14 yards a catch. Do the math. If Harbor gets 14 yards a catch and adds three catches, he’d have 42 receiving yards. I’ll take his over.

Baylor Bears vs. LSU Tigers (Texas Bowl)

    • Leg 1: Sawyer Robertson Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-130)
    • Leg 2: Bryson Washington Over 102.5 Rushing Yards (-114
    • Leg 3: Aaron Anderson Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+120)

Sawyer Robertson finished out the regular season with nine passing touchdowns in his last three games. During the six-game winning streak, Robertson totaled 17 passing touchdowns. He’ll go up against an LSU defense that was already depleted during the regular season. While some players have chosen not to opt out on defense, the team still lost a handful of players in the portal. They’ll be stuck using a lot of younger players in the secondary. Robertson should take advantage.

Meanwhile, in five of his last six games, Bryson Washington has added at least 113 rushing yards. It’s one of the main reasons for Baylor’s massive six-game winning streak. He’s rushed for nearly six yards per attempt over the last 10 games and has earned at least 26 rushing attempts in three of his last four games. Washington has been a workhorse, and that won’t stop now.

Finally, Kyren Lacy and Mason Taylor are both opting out of this game to prepare for the 2025 NFL Draft. That leaves Aaron Anderson as the main target in the LSU offense. Anderson has scored a touchdown in four games this season but has also had many games with at least five receptions this year. Since LSU is super depleted at wide receiver, Anderson will be a main contributor. With his speed and ability, he should be able to find the end zone.
