The college football season is here!

Yes, it’s only Week 0. And yes, the matchups aren’t as exciting as some Week 1 matchups. But it’s college football, nonetheless!

We get to watch Sam Hartman with Notre Dame and Caleb Williams sling it with USC. Don’t complain!

Here are three player props to consider for Week 0 in college football!

Sam Hartman Over 232.5 Passing Yards (-114)

The weather in Ireland isn’t supposed to be great, but Sam Hartman is a pro’s pro. He’s been a college football quarterback in big spots for nearly half a decade.

Hartman threw for over 232.5 yards every single game last year for Wake Forest. Notre Dame is sometimes run-heavy, but it’ll adjust to utilize its best asset.

After all, Hartman threw for over 3,700 yards last season and completed at least 57% of passes in every game. He also dropped back 30+ times in nine games last year for Wake Forest. The Fighting Irish didn’t bring him in for his final season to have him hand the ball off.

Take his Over.

Jamoni Jones Over 0.5 Touchdowns (-125)

Jamoni Jones will get the start at running back for the New Mexico State Aggies this season. He ran for 3.5 yards per carry last year on 111 attempts. He also added 383 yards on the ground and scored six touchdowns in his first proper season playing college football.

Jones also earned six receptions for 71 yards and scored a touchdown on a reception. He had seven touchdowns in 13 games, but it took him until his fifth game to score one.

He’ll take on a UMass defense that hasn’t turned the corner yet. This game’s total is 44.5, with the Over at -115. New Mexico State is also a -280 favorite.

With plenty of scoring expected, Jamoni Jones has the best chance at finding the endzone as the running back of New Mexico State.

Dorian Singer Over 68.5 Receiving Yards (-114)

Caleb Williams has a new receiver that he will enjoy this year.

The USC Trojans added Dorian Singer as a receiver. He’s a transfer from Arizona, who added 1,105 yards on 66 receptions last season. Singer has averaged 16.7 yards per reception in two seasons with Arizona and is a significant threat down the field for Williams and USC.

Singer added eight games with at least six receptions and had a play that went for at least 20 yards in all but one game last season with the Wildcats.

If Singer catches four passes from Williams, he’ll likely earn 70+ receiving yards. He hit this number in eight games and now has a much better offense. He’s got the best quarterback in college football, throwing him the ball!

This should be a fun connection. Take his Over.
