Week 1 Best College Football Betting System Plays

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

NCAAF ORE Favorites – Spread

The Oregon Ducks will debut in the Big Ten at home against Idaho on Saturday. That’s one reason to invest in the Ducks.

Another is that the Ducks have added a 46.4% return on investment (ROI) against the spread in their last 13 games. The Ducks have added 6.03 units of profit and have earned a winning percentage of 76.9% against the spread per the NCAAF ORE Favorites – Spread system.

The system doesn’t have much to it. It’s a simple bet that has dominated since last season.

Oregon’s transition to the Big Ten won’t be felt just yet. This is a typical Week 1 matchup, where they’ll take on Idaho at home. The Ducks lost Bo Nix and many other talented athletes from last year’s team. But Dillon Gabriel is now the face of the program and should be an elite addition at quarterback.

Oregon also added Evan Stewart from Texas A&M to play one of the starting receiver spots and added five senior transfers on defense that should hold it down for the Ducks.

On the other hand, Idaho finished 9-4 overall in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) last season. They’re a good squad to rely on when they play other FCS opponents. However, Oregon is projected to be one of the best teams in the nation and earned an 81-7 victory against Portland State in last week’s opening game.

The Ducks are never afraid to pour it on. That’s why we’ll back Oregon at -44.5 in Week 1.

Pick: Oregon -44.5 (-110)

NCAAF BC Underdogs – Moneyline

Who is a bit daring this week?

Over the last seven games, the Boston College Golden Eagles are 4-3 as underdogs on the Moneyline. That’s added a 78.6% ROI and has helped backers profit 5.50 units on just seven wagers.

The Golden Eagles will still have Thomas Castellanos at quarterback. They’ll also bring back senior Kye Robichaux at running back. More importantly, they’re in line to face a Florida State team that lost to Georgia Tech in Ireland to open up the season.

The Seminoles lost 24-21 and must be drained after that defeat. Florida State earned just 291 yards of offense and added below 100 yards on the ground. In addition, the defense was weak in coverage and overall below average in most areas.

There’s no guarantee Boston College plays as well as Georgia Tech on the road in Doak Campbell Stadium. But it’s worth a shot. Boston College plays very well as underdogs and could make this one a game. This would be quite the profit for Week 1.

Pick: Boston College (+550)
