Top College Football Odds & Picks: Week 10
New Mexico State vs. FIU
New Mexico State travels to Miami for some midweek CUSA action. FIU is on a three game losing streak where theyâve managed only 17.3 PPG. This included two late touchdowns against Liberty to force overtime. New Mexico State has had their own struggles this season, snapping a five-game losing streak in their last contest, beating Louisiana Tech. The Aggies have struggled mightily on the offensive side of the ball where they rank 133rd in EPA per play, second worst in the country. However, they showed some life against Louisiana Tech where they managed 364 yards of offense and 4.6 yards per carry on the ground. FIUâs defense is not particularly strong and the Aggies should be able to move the ball on them. These are both two teams that are on the lower end of FBS and for FIU to be as large of favorites as they are isnât accurate and these Tuesday night games can tend to get wacky. This is a good spot to take the large underdog in a midweek primetime game.
Pick: New Mexico State +9.5

Louisiana vs. Texas State
We've got a heavyweight SunBelt matchup on Tuesday night! Texas State might be 4-3, but they're a competitive group and are still favorites at home against 6-1 Louisiana. Former James Madison quarterback Jordan McCloud has thrown for 20 touchdowns and has run for another five. He's got the 11th-best QBR in college football. He's coming off his worst game against Old Dominion, but his track record suggests he'll turn things around against Louisiana. On the other hand. After all, Louisiana hasn't been great rushing the passer this season. If McCloud has time, he'll deliver. Meanwhile, Louisiana is on a four-game winning streak. The offense has scored at least 34 points in three of the last four games. Yet, even with those high-scoring games, Texas State has still scored more points than Louisiana this season through seven games each. At home, Texas State's defense should outperform Louisiana. It's more well-balanced. Give me the Bobcats at -4 (-105).
Pick: Texas State -4

Louisiana Tech vs. Sam Houston
The Sam Houston State Bearkats are already bowl-eligible at 6-2. But now they'll work toward potentially winning the Conference USA and earning a bigger and better bowl game. The Bearkats are talented on offense but most recently scored just 10 points against Florida International. Before that game, Sam Houston State scored at least 31 points in every game. Meanwhile, Louisiana Tech is 3-4 and looking to return to .500. The Bulldogs have won two of their last three and just earned a win over UTEP last time out, 14-10. Louisiana Tech has been good at stopping the run, an area where Sam Houston State has averaged more than 208 yards on the ground. If Louisiana Tech can hang in there defensively, they'll keep this game close. The Bulldogs shouldn't be a 10.5-point underdog.
Pick: Louisiana Tech +10.5
