Jonathan Brooks Over 98.5 Rushing Yards (-114)

The Kansas State defense has allowed 15.9 points per game this season. But realistically, the run defense is average, and the missed tackles have piled up consistently.

With Quinn Ewers out of the picture for Texas right now, the Longhorns will likely try and run the ball consistently against Kansas State. Jonathan Brooks has earned 144 carries for 923 yards and seven touchdowns this season. He’s averaged 6.4 yards per carry and has had six straight games with at least 98 yards.

Against BYU, Brooks only only 16 carries, averaging 6.1 yards, for 98 rushing yards. That was a blowout win against BYU. But in a potentially closer matchup, Brooks will get more attempts. During his streak of at least 98 rushing yards, he’s reached at least 18 rushing attempts in all games but the most recent one against the Cougars. If he had 17 rushing attempts, there’s no question that he would’ve got over 98.5 yards rushing versus BYU. So let’s back his Over here.

Michael Penix Jr. Over 3.5 Passing Touchdowns (-114)

The Washington Huskies haven’t played their best football over the last few weeks. But they’re still 8-0 and fighting for their chance at a College Football Playoff. This game against USC is incredibly important.

While the Trojans have two losses, the offense is still one of the best in the nation. Most of the world believes we’ll see a shootout between Michael Penix Jr. and Caleb Williams. I agree. You can back either quarterback and feel comfortable. However, Washington’s defense is statistically better. So, I’ll pick on USC’s defense.

Penix Jr. has added 24 passing touchdowns with nearly 3,000 yards in the air through eight weeks. He has the best trio of receivers in the nation and will take on a USC defense that has struggled immensely against some of the top offenses in the country.

Not only is Penix Jr. the Heisman favorite, but he’s also thrown for four or more touchdowns in five of the eight games this season. USC has allowed over 32 points per game. Let’s take Penix Jr. to keep his Heisman hopes alive against the reigning Heisman winner’s squad.

Jermaine Burton Over 62.5 Receiving Yards (-114)

Jermaine Burton has solidified himself as the No. 1 receiver at Alabama this year. The senior has 23 catches for 508 yards, with five touchdowns, averaging over 22 yards per catch this season.

Burton had one giant game against Texas A&M but hasn’t added more than four catches in any other game this season. Still, he’s a deep-threat receiver who can earn two catches and turn those two catches into 63+ yards.

The LSU defense is depleted, with many young players in the secondary. They’ll even be weaker on the defensive line without Mekhi Wingo. Harold Perkins will pressure Jalen Milroe, but other than him, the Tigers will struggle to make Milroe uncomfortable.

That will allow Milroe to find Burton down the field multiple times and earn significant gains.
