Top College Football Odds & Picks: Week 11 (Tuesday)
Bowling Green vs. Central Michigan
The 2024 edition of MACtion kicks off Tuesday with Bowling Green traveling to Mt Pleasant, Michigan to take on the Central Michigan Chippewas. Weather is expected to be sloppy with rain in the forecast. This would take away one of Bowling Greenâs biggest advantages, the passing game. QB Connor Bazelak is putting together a sensational senior season. His 1815 yards in the air rank fourth in the conference, but on a per-game basis, he ranks second. But their rushing offense is still top half of the conference, averaging 146.5 yards per game. For Central Michigan, this is their strength. The Chippewas rank third in the MAC with 5.1 yards per carry and they can have success against a Falcon defense that ranks in 111th in defensive EPA per play against the run. At nearly two touchdowns this is too many points in what could end up being a sloppy MACtion contest.
Pick: Central Michigan +14

Miami (OH) vs. Ball State
The Cardinals havenât done anything well defensively this season. Theyâre allowing the fourth-most passing yards per game, and theyâre allowing nearly 200 yards on the ground to opponents. Meanwhile the Redhawks have scored 30 or more points in three consecutive games, winning each of those contests by at least 10 points. This game is being played at Ball State, and rainy and windy conditions are expected. However, the Redhawks own every advantage in this game, and their defense should have no trouble stopping the mediocre pass offennse of the Cardinals in the rain. The Cardinals rushing attack is averaging just 105.1 yards per game, so if they need to lean heavily on that unit in the weather, they may not even score 10 points.
Pick: Miami (OH) -11
