Saturday’s Best CFB Player Props

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Jonah Coleman Over 55.5 Rushing Yards (-114)

Jonah Coleman has rushed for 744 yards on 104 carries this season for the Arizona Wildcats. While Arizona has a tough challenge ahead of playing the Utah Utes, the Wildcats have earned four straight wins against Washington State, Oregon State, UCLA and Colorado.

Although Colorado isn’t a good defense, the other three are. Coleman earned at least 70 yards rushing in two of those three games and just added 179 yards rushing on 11 carries against the Buffs.

Utah’s defense is still one of the best in the Pac-12. Still, it’s nothing like it was over the last couple of years when the Utes won the Pac-12 Championship. They’ll also make some big gains. With Coleman averaging 7.2 yards per carry, 55.5 yards is nothing for this Wildcat.

Jaylen Wright Under 54.5 Rushing Yards (-114)

Georgia’s peaking at the right time. The Bulldogs just dominated Ole Miss, 52-17, and earned a 30-21 win over Missouri in the game before that. While the Bulldogs haven’t been as consistent as other years, Georgia has returned to the No. 1 ranking for the College Football Playoff.

Ole Miss’s Quinshon Judkins needed 22 carries for 75 yards against Georgia. He averaged 3.4 yards per carry and had a long of just 15 yards last weekend. Once Tennessee starts to trail by multiple scores, the passing game will have more of an emphasis.

Georgia’s one of the best tackling teams in the nation. They’re also superb against the run.

Meanwhile, Wright has earned eight or fewer carries in each of his last two games. Against Missouri, he had his worst game, rushing seven times for 22 yards. He also lost a fumble, which didn’t help. I’ll gladly take his under against the nation’s best team.

Keagan Johnson Under 39.5 Receiving Yards (-114)

The Kansas State Wildcats scored 59 points last weekend against Baylor. However, Keagan Johnson wasn’t really a big part of that. He added just three catches for 31 yards, with a long play of only 13 yards.

There were 21 completions by Kansas State, but he didn’t make much of an impact with his three catches. Ben Sinnot, Jadon Jackson and Garrett Oakley all added plays of 28 or more.

Johnson hasn’t had a catch for more than 20 yards this season. He’s also had multiple games without a single catch. In addition, Jackson has just one game with more than 40 yards receiving. That came against Texas, where he added seven catches for 70 yards.

Don’t expect much out of Johnson against a tough Kansas secondary.
