College Football Week 3 Player Prop Bet Odds, Picks & Predictions
Conference play will begin for many teams in college football this week.
Some squads will wait one more week until they start to play in-conference games. However, others are ready to make their mark on their respective conferences, starting this weekend.
There are plenty of exciting games on the Week 3 slate. Here are my favorite three college football player props to consider for it.

Will Rogers Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (+102)
The LSU secondary looks horrendous. The Tigers couldnât get many stops against Florida State in Week 1 and then struggled early against Grambling State last weekend. The secondary doesnât have many returning players. Theyâve also endured some injuries.
With the Tigers projected to win this game by 9.5 points, Mississippi State will likely throw a lot. The LSU offense will likely score at will. But the defense will probably have their mistakes, especially in that secondary.
Will Rogers has already thrown for five touchdowns in two games this season. Thatâs above a 1.5 per-game average.
Mississippi State only threw the ball 17 times last week against Arizona in a 31-24 win. But Rogers is a veteran in college football and will get his throws. Heâs at least trusted, especially around the red zone. Plus, LSUâs run defense is excellent as long as they can convert their tackles better.
Take Rodgers to throw for at least two touchdowns.
Drake Maye Over 32.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
Drake Maye has thrown for 477 yards and two touchdowns on 62 attempts. However, heâs also rushed the football 15 times for 82 yards and another touchdown. Maye has averaged 5.5 yards per rush on nearly eight attempts per game.
Over the first two games, the Minnesota Golden Gophers have held teams to just 92.5 yards passing but have given up 131 yards rushing. The coverage and pass rush is superb, but the run defense isnât as good.
In their first two games against Nebraska and Eastern Michigan, Minnesota held opponents to under 100 yards passing per game. Maye will change that. But the Tar Heels will also want to tuck it and run with Maye when openings arise.
Montrell Johnson Over 58.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
The Florida Gators at home could surprise against No. 11 Tennessee. The Gators will need to limit turnovers. The best way to do that is by running the football to kill time and possessions.
Montrell Johnson leads the Gators with 125 yards on 18 carries. Heâll go up against a Tennessee defense that has allowed 87 yards per game on the ground. However, Tennessee has only played Virginia and Austin Peay. Those numbers are a bit skewed. The run defense hasnât played nearly as well as youâd think.
Johnson has averaged 6.9 yards per rush and should share carries with Trevor Etienne. You can probably roll with both running backs to hit their yardage lines, but Johnson has been the more consistent running back to begin the season.
