College Football Week 4 Anytime Touchdown Scorer Odds & Picks (2023)

Last week was an absolutely brutal weekend for our anytime touchdown bets. We didn’t cash on a single one over the weekend, but that’s going to happen, especially when you don’t like the slate of games. So, if you don’t like a certain number of games, don’t bet on them. As my dad always says, “Let that bus pass; another one will be coming.”

Week 4 of the College Football season looks much better than what we had last week. This is fortunate because we should be able to win some money back plus some.

So, while we’re 4-5 on the year for our CFB Anytime Touchdown bets, let’s take a look at my three favorite anytime touchdown props for this week!

Florida State vs. Clemson

I’ve never been the biggest Will Shipley supporter when it comes to the NFL Draft. However, we’re not betting on where he’s getting selected. We’re betting on whether he can score a touchdown or not against Florida State, and I think it’s very possible this weekend.

For starters, the Seminoles are allowing 123.0 rushing yards allowed per game. There should be plenty of chances for Shipley to get going on the ground. After all, he did put over 110 rushing yards in a 28-7 loss to Duke in Week 1 of the season. Meanwhile, Shipley is one season removed from 15 rushing touchdowns. Even though he hasn’t run for a touchdown this year, streaks are meant to be broken, and this weekend seems as good as ever to get going on the ground.

In addition, the Seminoles have also given up five rushing touchdowns this season. During Shipley’s career against Florida State, he’s ran for 249 yards on 45 carries and two touchdowns. Add in his 10 receptions for 72 yards, and there’s potential for him to find the end zone for the first time this season.

Bet: Will Shipley Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+100)

BYU vs. Kansas

I’m very intrigued by the game between BYU and Kansas this weekend. Vegas has Kansas as an 8.5-point favorite while having the over/under at 54.5 total points. Personally, I’d stay away from the spread, but I could see this game play out in favor of Kansas winning by 10 points. So, with that, I am intrigued by taking the over in this game.

Aside from betting the game lines for this matchup, I do like a couple of different touchdown scorers. With BYU being a pass-first offense, I could see BYU wide receiver Chase Roberts finding the end zone after scoring in back-to-back games. However, I love what I’ve seen out of Kansas running back Devin Neal so far this year.

Through three games, Neal has 40 carries for 303 yards and already has five touchdowns. So far, Neal has scored in every game he’s played this season, and he actually scored three times last week against Nevada. While BYU has a bit of a tougher defense, especially on the ground (99.7 rush yards allowed per game), I think Neal can find the end zone in this one. Look for him to keep the touchdown streak alive in this game.

Bet: Devin Neal Over 0.5 Rushing Touchdowns (-120)

Colorado vs. Oregon

If you’re not excited about this matchup, do you even like football? Personally, I can’t wait to have a cold pop on my couch as this game gets played out. I know the Buffaloes are down Travis Hunter, but that makes it all the more interesting for both sides of the football.

Oregon can score points just as well as anyone. However, Colorado has shown that they can score as well with the production from their quarterback, Shedeur Sanders. Now, this will be the toughest defense Sanders has faced so far this year, but I still believe in the kid.

Through three games this season (Hawaii, Texas Tech and Portland State), the Oregon defense has only allowed 158.7 passing yards per game. However, Colorado is averaging 418 passing yards per game. The two main receivers in this Colorado passing attack are Xavier Weaver and Jimmy Horn Jr. Both receivers are healthy, but both of them face a tough defensive backfield that is led by Khyree Jackson.

Regardless, I still like the chances for Horn Jr. to score in this game. In two of the three games played this year, he’s scored a touchdown. The Ducks have the 50th-ranked red zone defense and have a 77.8% red zone conversion rate.

Bet: Jimmy Horn Jr. Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+105)
