College Football Week 4 Same Game Parlays Odds, Picks & Predictions (2022)

As we head into Week 4, we start to get into conference play. We have a couple of teams that have been CFB Playoff participants and are looking to get back into the picture. They first need to win their conference to have a chance, which begins this week for these teams.

Clemson vs. Wake Forest

  • Leg 1: Over 55.5 (-125)
  • Leg 2: Sam Hartman over 300 passing yards (-110)
  • Leg 3: Will Shipley over 110 rushing yards (+200)

This will be an important early conference matchup. Clemson wants to get back to the ACC title game, and beating last year’s Atlantic division winner is the first step.

In last year’s matchup, each team had three turnovers and could still combine for 65 points and 949 total yards. Even with how well both of these offenses are playing, the total is 55.5, which is way too low.

One of those contributors to this high-scoring game will be Will Shipley. The sophomore has been the key critical part of this offense as he comes in with 9.3 yards per carry and six touchdowns on the season. The Wake Forest defense has not improved this season, especially against the run, and they allowed 333 rushing yards against Clemson last season. Shipley is going to light up the stat sheet.

On the other side, the Demon Deacons will have Sam Hartman move the ball through the air, and last year he went 27-for-43 with 312 passing yards. The game script forced a passing attack, but Hartman had four games last year where he threw over 40 passes.

Florida vs. Tennessee

  • Leg 1: Tennessee -10.5 (-110)
  • Leg 2: Under 62.5 (-110)
  • Leg 3: Jaylen Wright anytime scorer (-250)
  • Leg 4:  Jalin Hyatt anytime scorer (-135)

After the fantastic game against Utah, Anthony Richardson has begun to fade and has not been a factor in Florida’s last two games. He’s getting a tough assignment this week as Tennessee’s defense looks much improved from last season. Last week, he was not doing well at looking off defenders, and South Florida was able to exploit that throughout the game. If he can’t make that change, he will get eaten alive in conference play.

The problem is that Florida will need to score a lot to keep up with the Volunteers. This offense is powerful, with Hendon Hooker leading the offense, Jaylen Wright and Jabari Small in the backfield, and Jalin Hyatt and Cedric Tillman. Hooker has excelled since taking over this offense last year, and in an SEC with a couple of outstanding dual-threat quarterbacks, he needs to be mentioned in the conversation.

The Florida defense is showing its weaknesses early as USF crushed them on the ground, and they’re last in the SEC in third-down efficiency.

Maryland vs. Michigan

  • Leg 1: Michigan -17 (-125)
  • Leg 2: JJ McCarthy over 280 passing yards (+120)
  • Leg 3: Blake Corum over 90 rushing yards (+100)

Michigan made the move, and Jim Harbaugh has picked JJ McCarthy as the quarterback. McCarthy brings the better skillsets, but he hasn’t needed them yet. Mainly because they’ve gone up big so early and just needed to bleed the clock. Secondly, Blake Corum has been incredible with 6.9 yards per carry and seven touchdowns.

This will be the best competition they’ve faced so far, so they will have a more balanced offense.

Taulia Tagovailoa has been incredible by completing 77% of his passing, and the backfield is averaging six yards per carry. Maryland hasn’t faced any real completion either, so it will be interesting to gauge how competitive they’ll be in Big Ten.

Michigan has controlled this rivalry, winning by an average of 15 points in the last six games. The Terrapins have the offense to put up some points, but their defense isn’t on the same par, and Michigan should easily find the end zone this week.
