College Football Week 5 Player Prop Bet Odds, Picks & Predictions

Although Week 5 of the College Football season doesn’t have as many top-25 matchups on the slate, we’re now into conference season, with many teams playing against conference opponents. That sets up for rivalry games and potential upsets that nobody sees coming.

I’ve added three player props for tomorrow’s College Football slate. Let’s have a day!

MarShawn Lloyd Over 88.5 Rushing Yards (-114)

I wouldn’t be doing my job if I didn’t add a prop bet for the Colorado-USC matchup! USC’s offense has averaged 569.3 yards per game, including 192 yards on the ground. Meanwhile, Colorado’s defense has given up 206.5 yards per game on the ground.

MarShawn Lloyd should have a day. Lloyd has led the Trojans with 39 carries and 349 yards. He’s also scored two touchdowns and has averaged 8.9 yards per carry.

Colorado’s secondary is solid. It’ll be interesting to see how QB Caleb Williams prepares against them. But when the run game starts to work well, USC will continue to run right through the Buffaloes. Let’s grab Lloyd to earn at least 89 rushing yards.

Jayden Daniels Over 2.5 Passing Touchdowns (+142)

The Ole Miss Rebels are an above-average defense, but no position on the defense stands out. The defense has still allowed 351.8 yards per game and has allowed at least 20 points in each of their first three games against FBS opponents.

Even Alabama scored 24, and there were questions about Jalen Milroe and the Alabama quarterback room.

However, there are no questions about Jayden Daniels and LSU. The offense has earned 530 yards of offense per game, including 338.3 yards in the air. Daniels is a dual-threat quarterback who has thrown for nearly 1,300 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Daniels has always been a run-first quarterback. But this year, he’s hanging in the pocket more and making great throws to Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. His QBR is 82.9, also in the top 15 in the nation.

Look for Daniels and the LSU offense to have another quality day throwing the football. He’s averaged three touchdowns per game. At +142, I’ll take it.

Audric Estime Over 92.5 Rushing Yards (-114)

The Duke football story has been entertaining, but the run defense hasn’t been. The Blue Devils have allowed 133 yards per game on the ground this year. Duke has a wonderful secondary and a quality pass rush, plus tackle at a high rate. But the run defense is their kryptonite.

On the other hand, Notre Dame has earned 198.8 yards per game on the ground despite having Sam Hartman at quarterback.

Last weekend, Notre Dame ran the ball 39 times and had Sam Hartman throw the ball only 25 times. Audric Estime averaged five yards per carry against Ohio State on 14 carries and finished with 70 yards.

Against Duke, his average will rise. Estime could probably earn 100 yards rushing against Duke if he earns the same amount of carries this weekend.
