College Football Week 8 Player Prop Bets Odds, Picks & Predictions

Syracuse QB Garrett Shrader UNDER 225.5 passing yards at Clemson (-125)

Shrader has been a surprise this season but he will be doing a lot of work in the run game against Clemson as well to keep them off balance. This number is inflated a bit because most expect Syracuse to trail big at times in this game and for the Orange to need to air it out. Shrader has come UNDER this number two of his last five games and Clemson is the best team he’s faced.

LSU WR Kayshon Boutte OVER 53.5 receiving yards vs. Ole Miss (-115)

He’s back and I’m going to keep riding him. 53.5 is still very low for a potential first rounder and last week he looked like himself with six catches for 115 yards. He and QB Jayden Daniels are starting to get on the same page and another 100 yard game could be in the mix. As a bonus you might want to take him OVER 0.5 receiving touchdowns (+140) as he’s only scored once this season and is well overdue.

Ole Miss RB Zach Evans UNDER 0.5 rushing touchdowns at LSU (+130)

Evans has rushed for a touchdown in all but one game this season but the emergence of freshman RB Quinshon Judkins is taking away carries and red zone opportunities and the freshman now has more rushing touchdowns. In a game where the Ole Miss offense could struggle a bit, rushing touchdowns could be rare so this is a good bet to take at a plus number.

TCU RB Kendre Miller OVER 81.5 rushing yards vs. Kansas State (-115)

TCU is thought to be an air attack under Sonny Dykes but Miller has been crucial to their success on the ground. Miller has been higher than this number in each of his past four games. Kansas State is a good team but this is at home where he’s rushed for 136 and 104 respectively in his last two games.

Washington QB Michael Penix Jr. UNDER 339.5 passing yards at Cal (-125)

He’s been amazing this season and Cal doesn’t look like a great team. But the Cal defense gives up 258.7 yards passing per game and have held quarterbacks under 300 yards in all but two games this season. They are also the second best defense in the PAC 12 when it comes to allowing points. All being equal, this Cal defense plays better than their record states and Penix Jr. is due for a pedestrian game. He made get over 300 but this number is way too high for me.
