College Football Week 9 Odds, Picks & Prediction: Kentucky vs. Tennessee

One week removed from one of the biggest wins in program history over Alabama two weeks ago, there was no letdown for the unit, dismantling Tennesee-Martin 65-24 and covering as 38.5-point favorites. A perfect 7-0 to this point, the Volunteers have ascended to #3 in the country, as just Kentucky, South Carolina, and Missouri remain between them and November 5th date vs. Georgia (#1). Senior quarterback Hendon Hooker has been the difference for this Tennesee team, currently ranked #1 and #2 in the country in total offensive yards and passing yards, respectively.

As for visiting Kentucky, the season has so far been a mixed bag, following up a 4-0 start with two losses to Ole Miss and South Carolina to start October. A 27-17 win over Mississippi State last week at home as 3.5-point favorites, however, has their confidence high going into this one.

I like for Wildcats QB Will Levis to have enough to keep this one close in Knoxville.

Kentucky +12.5
