No. 21 Missouri vs. No. 7 Alabama

  • Leg 1: Alabama -17  (-112)
  • Leg 2: Jalen Milroe 2+ Passing Touchdowns (-120)
  • Leg 3: Over 6 Total Touchdowns (-115)

Alabama has no more room for error, as a third loss would likely eliminate them from playoff contention. There are several problems on both sides of the ball.

The defense has struggled in conference play, allowing 30.7 points per game against SEC opponents. They also have failed to stop opposing drives on third down, allowing a 53.1% third-down conversion rate in the last three games.

On offense, the ground game was great at the start of the season but has also fallen off dramatically since entering SEC play, averaging 2.5 yards per carry.

With all that, Missouri could find a way to win if they had their full complement of players. They'll have to go without quarterback Brady Cook and running back Nate Noel. Last week, Cook returned from the hospital mid-game to lead the Tigers to a win against Auburn.

They will rely on former Notre Dame and Arizona State quarterback Drew Pyne, who will keep the turnovers down but can't stretch the field and is averaging just 4.8 yards per completion.

Missouri can sometimes play great defense and could contain an Alabama backfield that has struggled. However, Mizzou would still likely struggle with Cook and Noel, so they could go down early with backups and not recover.

No. 8 LSU vs. No. 14 Texas A&M

  • Leg 1: Over 54 Points (-112)
  • Leg 2: Garrett Nussmeier 275+ Passing Yards (-135)
  • Leg 3: Le’Veon Moss 87+ Rushing Yards (-125)

It's hard not to think of LSU as one of the best teams in the country. They are riding a six-game winning streak and seem to be improving every week.

What's kept in contention every time is the passing game. Garett Nussmeier has waited a long time for this opportunity. He leads the SEC with 18 touchdowns and is second with 317.4 passing yards per game.

Now, the defense is getting better, especially against the run, and they're starting to pressure the line of scrimmage.

This will be a tough defensive opponent, as Texas A&M has some great pass rushers, like Nic Scourton, who's second with 11 total tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks. In the secondary, Will Lee is second with nine passes broken up.

The Aggies can run the ball with Le'Veon Moss, who has over 117 rushing yards in two of his last three games, but they must be able to throw the ball to keep up with LSU. When Conner Weigman gets the chance to unleash, he's efficient and can extend the field, but he hasn't been asked to do that much with fewer than 30 passes in the last two games.

Many factors can go right or wrong for either side to win. We’re seeing in SEC games that the initial game plans don’t always work. This game could go down to the wire and have a memorable ending.
