Tuesday’s 2024 Copa America Best Bets
Copa America 2024 odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook | All wagers are for 1 unit
Brazil (-115) vs. Colombia (+350) – Draw (+250) | O/U Total 2.5 (+116/-140)
Colombia tops the table in Group D with two victories and a plus-4 goal differential with six points, as it doubled up Paraguay 2-1 in the group stage opener, before belting Costa Rica 3-0 last time out. As a result, Colombia punched its ticket to the Quarterfinals. Los Cafeteros had a 63.8 possession mark against Los Ticos while managing to take 17 shot attempts, including five shots on target. CRC had five attempts, but none one target.
In the win, Colombia also had 19 fouls, to 14 for Costa Rica. It got a little chippy, with two yellow cards for Colombia, and one for Costa Rica. Luis Diaz opened the scoring at 31′ with a successful penalty make, while Davinson Sanchez added insurance at 59′ and Jhon Cordoba added one at 62′.
While Colombia has advanced, it can claim victory in the group with a draw or victory over South American nemesis Brazil. Seleção Canarinho played to a stunning scoreless draw against Costa Rica in the opening match, before taking it all out on Paraguay 4-1 last time out. Vinícius Júnior scored twice for Brazil, while Brazil maintained possession 54.9% of the time. It was an offensive showcase, as Brazil had just a 17-to-15 shot attempt advantage, while both sides had six shots on target. Brazil also had six corners, while Paraguay notched four.
Let’s get a little crazy, and go with a Draw in what is a de facto Group D championship match. In addition, we should see some fireworks, and Over 1.5 Goals is too hard to pass up. Additionally, since Junior had a pair of goals last time out, let’s roll with him as an Anytime Goal Scorer for the chance to nearly double up.

Costa Rica (+330) vs. Paraguay (-105) – Draw (+220) | O/U Total 2.5 (+140/-172)
It remains to be seen how much motivation either Costa Rica or Paraguay will have in this Copa America battle, as both squads have been eliminated from advancing to the knockout stages. In other words, this match is for pride, and pride only.
Costa Rica pulled off one of the stunners of the tournament, posting a scoreless draw against Brazil. Now, Brazil must top Colombia to earn the first-place spot in the Group D table.
Paraguay suffered a 2-1 loss to Colombia, and a 4-1 setback to Brazil, leaving it with a minus-5 goal differential with zero points. It probably wants to avoid going 0-for-3 in group stage play, but it’s unclear how motivated it will be with no opportunity for advancement.
The draw is the most attractive play here, and Los Ticos could be involved in a second scoreless draw in three matches at Copa America. The time Costa Rica found the back of the net was in a 3-0 win over Grenada in a World Cup qualifier. On a side note, prayers go out to the aforementioned island nation of Grenada, ravaged by then-Category 4 Hurricane Beryl on Monday.
The best play is to roll with the Draw, and we likely have a snoozefest with no goals in the final appearance for each of these nations at the 2024 installment of Copa America.
